The ABSURDITY Of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
Shai-Gilgeous Alexander is out of this world! Possessing a throwback playstyle of dominating in the mid-range, being a ferocious driver, and putting fear in defenders, he's one of the great guards of the likes of Kobe Bryant, Dwyane Wade, and even Michael Jordan.

People HATE This About Victor Wembanyama
Переглядів 2,7 тис.14 днів тому
Victor Wembanyama is one of the most gifted players the NBA has ever seen due to his insane combination of size, fluidity, and overall offensive and defensive versatility. However, the biggest criticism of him is that, given his 7'4 "frame, he should be operating much closer to the basket. Is this a valid criticism? Heart breaking, this post just came out right after Ivey's injury. We were balling. We lost our draft pick if it isn't top 10, so maybe it is a blessing? I don't know, i'm conflicted. Sasser is going to ball out, and maybe he balls out into we can trade him into some higher pick and end up in the lottery, but we are kind of stuck in no mans land but next season I think we will go over .500 regardless.

Spurs fan here. Yea it's annoying to me sometimes but I sure as hell don't complain when he gets in that zone where he can't miss from the 3. Plus I know that he is being allowed to do it. There is a purpose behind it. There is no better time to use for "practice" than actual live game minutes. Spurs are not winning a championship this year. We know that. This is all part of his learning process, fan approval be damned.

Victor is an Alien who is just starting to scratch the surface and figuring out what he can do on the court he is prolly 3 years away from his prime. Let him develop on his own terms. He going to be Steph, LeBron IQ, KD mid range, his own post player all in one. Think about it, no cry’s Steph is taking to many 3’s they did early in his career then they accepted who he was and he change the game. Wemby going to change the game. Logo 3’s going to be the Wemby shot. I also predict Wemby will become hated just like people hated LeBron. It’s going to be the best for NBA and the face of the league. Wemby already is bringing the best out of NBA players when they play

  • @marklaursen960

its not that he shoots too many 3s, but he misses the first quarter of 3s because he hasn't warmed up properly for the game... imagine if he started out the 1st quarter making 50% of 3s or higher instead of missing and warming up....?? They need another "tall" to be on the court in this game, especially when vw is shooting away from the basket. o'nail said vw needed to develop a close in game when his 3s are not falling, also probably useful... also, give Bol a couple million and see if he can be trained to do some of the same roles as vw, worth a year but running out of time for that to occur.

I also wished the same so that Spurs nation will celebrate every game. He's not the usual big we are accustomed to who just dominates the inside. He's still young and wants to develop where he is lacking. Let us wait because he will dominate sooner than later.

Like it or not, people need to realize that the game has evolved. He is still in his second year and trying to figure out what he can and can't do (and developing). He had a slow start to the season, but he is hitting 40% of his threes in his last 15 games, which is a stretch that includes 1/9, 2/9, and 1/7 games. In spite of all of that, he's clearly improving, and is nearing the league average despite that slow start and high volume. Just imagine when his shot is perfected - he's still excellent at it, don't get me wrong - but having all of those options with consistency? Jeez. That coupled with him (already!) being one of the most ridiculous defenders we have ever seen, and it may be lights out for the rest of the league. Back to matters at hand. Others want him to just attack the paint, ignoring that the amount of muscle required to do that on a consistent basis would put him out of the league in a matter of a couple of years, especially when you consider his height - Giannis and Embiid are examples of more injury prone players. He could probably gain a few pounds, but for his longevity, he shouldn't be someone who just attacks the paint.

Also, he shooting 41% from 3 of the last 15 games. And if people watch the game they are open 3’s tell defense to guard it. When he is mid range or post he is doubled and tripled
