DJI Avata 2 4K 60FPS Color Correction
Here is a quick of how you can transform the raw video from the DJI Avata 2 with a little bit of color correction. I would say it turned out good for the lighting I had that day. Thanks for watching.

Avata 2 Flight Over Lake Tahoe
Переглядів 18Місяць тому
Here is just some quick footage of flying around in Lake Tahoe with the Avata 2. I didnt color correct or edit much, I was just testing some settings and playing around a bit. I got a few good shots, and hard not too, cause its such a pretty place. I'm getting more used to flying the Avata 2 in Normal Mode.
My First Indoor Fly Through With Avata 2

Hello, this is my first experience flying indoors with the Avata 2 and pretty much any camera drone. It turned out alright. The mistakes I would say are entirely my own inexperience with the drone. I can def do better. I didn't have much time to get this done and it is just for fun. Here is a breakdown of my experience and thoughts and ramblings. Enjoy and feedback is always welcome. Thanks
My First Flight w/ DJI Avata 2
Переглядів 7714 місяці тому
Well this was interesting. My first thoughts about flying the DJI Avata 2 was mostly how simple it is. It is very very forgiving and I can see why it would be a great drone for first time flyers. For me I wanted something I could fly inside with and I feel this will be perfect. I will still fly my 2.5 inch cinewhoop indoors, but this will add a great addition. Overall its a great drone with a f...
My First FPV Drone Setup and Why! | Beginner

Hello, This is the gear that I decided to go with for my first drone fpv setup as a beginner. So far it has been wonderful and I look forward to expanding in the future. This setup I believe is great for a beginner. It is simple, versatile and "easy" to fly, while also being very forgiving if you crash. I have crashed this setup many times and with a little bit of super glue, it is still rippin...
2.5" FPV Drone VS Full Size GoPro?

Hello, Today I decided to strap a full size gopro to my pavo25 just to see how it would hold up. Everyone says that you shouldn't do it or it can't be done, so I put that to the test. I was actually surprised at how well it did, despite me saying the motors were struggling. I will definitely do it again, because I don't want to destroy my GoPro just to fly with it and I want to catch some cool ...

This was the first time I was able to get everything set up with my drone to fly FPV. I have never flown a drone before, only on the simulator and the quick test flight in the last video without the goggles. What an experience! It was a lot of fun and I always look forward to the next time I get to fly. Have a great day!

    When you ride off road, unless you're 6 feet tall, you better lower it. I'm 5'9" and I've raced a bike that tall in a desert race, on a windy and narrow trail I had to put my foot down but my front wheel was on a small rock. Rocks are common off road as we all know, I almost fell 30 feet because I couldn't reach the ground. I've been riding and racing for over 30 years. Lower the zuke before you go off-road.

    • @rockyalpine
      @rockyalpine Місяць тому

      Ideally being able to touch the ground is the best option, especially for off-road. If you can't you can lower it through various methods, or you can just rip it as is. Don't be afraid to rip it off-road or on road, just because you can't flat foot it. Yes its great to be able to do so, but thats not always an option, and you can still have a blast and ride safely without flat footing or close. Either way good advise.

      Totally! Im ok with that though, I just got to get used to it. This drone for me will be more about flying indoors, just weird going from total freedom of flight to this one with "safety features" if you will. lol. I like it, I prefer to fly my cinewhoop, but this is also a great drone.

      It will only work with the Controller 2 if you are also using the Goggles 2 and maybe Integra(not totally sure about Integra). If you want to use the Goggles 3, you will need the Controller 3 from my understanding.

Also starting with a Cinewhoop and my set up(I have a video of my stuff), I think may be much easier than a 5in. I have also crashed it and smashed it up a few times, put it back together with some superglue lol. Its fun, life has been super crazy lately, but hope to make some more videos soon. Both FPV and just life stuff.

    TRYP is really good one graphics but lacks to emulate physics that well unless you tune a bunch of settings. Liftoff probably has the best physics and community (thousands of custom maps on steam workshop). Velocidrone is best for racing simulation, almost all the national GP pilots use this to practice. FPV Logic is another very good contender, some of the best graphics AND physics but lacks content (only 8 maps i think)

    • @rockyalpine
      @rockyalpine 8 місяців тому

      Thanks! I wouldn't know the difference, however, TRYP felt really close to what flying IRL was like for the first time. I know the game was updated not too long ago and maybe the physics got a lot better since you last heard/played, but I'm actually really happy with it. I will say it is low on content and features, but thats ok, it was more of a jumping off point to go actually fly. Thanks for you comment!

    • @rockyalpine
      @rockyalpine 8 місяців тому

      Ya, I never saw one on a 2.5" either, thats why I wanted to test it. No need to make another video on it, I think it can work if you need it too, but there are other drones that can handle the full size gopro much better. If thats what you want to do, go bigger. Or 2.5" with naked gopro or just go with the 03 unit. Action 2 camera may be a good choice as well.

    Great, but please be sure to not get chopped by the props, I have some experience and I know how it can go instantly from no harm to severe injury. Launching from hand seems cool but it have its downsides too. As long as its a cinewhoop no critical issues as such but anything can go wrong. As always happy flying.

      I agree! After doing some research I decided to start with the set up you saw in this video, for both versatility and practicality. @greedfox7842 9 місяців тому

      @@Sleeperknot you cannot have it all... the digital systems all have latency in the 50-130ms range. and really the point being that the quality of analog is dependent on the receiver screen quality and the lens of the camera, so analog can return picture that looks like digital. just don't judge analog because of the cheapest goggles and cameras on the market, actually try a set of quora or skyzones and a nice quad and you will actually love it. I personally went from digital to a set of $99 fatshark echo goggles for daily use because I prefer the simplicity of analog for most flying days.

      I think the DRZ400S and E versions are about 36.8in vs the SM at 35in. So yes taller, but also who cares, go rip it. Factor in a seat that will lower it a bit if you want, I personally never lowered mine, just got used to it no issues. Most dirt bikes have a taller seat height than the DRZ does, so its just something to get used to. If you need to lower it more, there are ways to do so, either way just get out there and ride! Don't let something silly like seat height stop you from having fun!
