Badass video didn't say where you got it didn't say the size of jet pipe didn't say about how much it cost didn't say anything of what you did to it at all and how you got it to that build, thumbs down in a major major major major way what's the point of that what's the point of making that video if somebody's clicking on your gosh damn channel is because they wanted to know the size of jetpipe carburetor the deck where you got all your parts where they can get that build, it doesn't make any sense to make this video it makes zero sense man absolute garbage dude super irritating there's not one GoPed channel where they say where they got everything at and what size things are and where to order from an optionals despicable dude it's absolute garbage man!!!!

Hey Ben, Kyosho shows using a restrictor plug in the carb for break in. Do you use that? I haven't seen one mentioned in any break in except their manual.

Do you do this style of break ins to all of your nitros? It's basically how I did mine years ago to my HPI savages .21 on up to the Ofna's .26/.28's.. I didn't know about the pinch zone at tdc which I will keep in mind. I have two new nitros to break in and will be sure to keep the piston at bdc while cooling.. Your awesome and deserve way more subscribers!

@m1pistonhead appreciate your videos on this truck! Any idea why I can’t hit the throttle on mine? If I go any more than maybe half throttle, it acts like it’s in neutral w/ super high RPM and no forward movement. I’d think it’s a shift issue, but per your video it sounds like 1st gear is always engaged? I just finished the break in so I can’t imagine I broke anything. Thanks again!

Finally, a man that knows how to break in an engine! I can attest to this method. I do it pretty much the same way. The only difference is, after the fourth tank, I raise the idol a bit more and periodically rev to about quarter to half throttle for short periods of time for a straight three tanks without ever letting the engine turn off. So after the four tanks of running and cooling, I run it with out letting it run out of fuel. That about it. The whole time running super fat. After that I hit the ground for adjustment and full throttle slowly. Never had a problem. This guy knows his stuff. Definitely listen up. P.S if it’s super tight, unscrew the glow plug to release pressure. Once started, tighten it back down, these things will run with the glow plug almost completely out.

nah man I had the same issue with the standard battery pack, upon pulling the servo apart the wires had been separated inside the servo

There are many people who don't like motorcycles, like they hate hunters. You are literally posting videos of you breaking the law. So think about what these people are doing? They're gathering your videos as proof that the motorcyclist are driving down main roads without a license, going off trails and blazing their own. You are feeding them the ammunition to end cycling at rampart range. Spread the word and watch what you are posting.

Nice collection Ben! Can you do a video on your HPI RS4 Nitro? A HPI RS4 Sport was my first hobby grade RC from years ago and still have it. Just recently got the HPI WR8 Nitro. Wouldn't mind seeing your whole collection actually. Also have the Kyosho USA1 Nitro like yours. Would be cool to see your go ped collection and detailed video of your flight trailer. Forget all you see here it's not the transmission its the axles taking out the transmission, take your drive shaft off turn it by hand. It's so bad. Move washer shim never have any problems again.

Piece of junk. Reminds me of the sandmaster Mt that I once had. Even 10th scale nitro cars have metal clutch/gear transmissions. Kyosho really screwed everyone with this turd. They used the cheapest parts and materials on this one. Trans gears aren't supposed to be wear items. I bet it gets discontinued soon.

I sure hope you broke that engine in first before doing those high speed runs.

Kyosho brake-in on that engine is to use the brake-in ring and run 5 tanks with no full throttle. I have never done this brake-in. Was hoping you was going to do this. I'm 55 and I have had 100s of nitro engines and did every way of brake-in there is. I find using 20% nitro and using Traxxas way of braking in to be the best and fastest. It don't really matter what method of brake in you use as long as you heat cycle the engine on the first 2 or 3 tanks. For those that want to give me lip on how your way is best, I have nitro engines I have put 10 15 gallons of fuel through. I have a sirio .27 that has about 20 gallons of fuel through it. I have had engines that busted skirts after 5 6 gallons.

Hi Ben, thnx for this great video and step by step instructions! I just bought this great truck, didn't drive it yet and I was kind of surprised about this issue. You don't expect such major issues on a new model. However looking at the exploded view in my manual I see the 6x13x1 shim at the rear support is already installed. Did Kyosho watch your video and solved the problem you think? This shim was not there in your model initially right? In that case maybe I don't have to do anything? Thanks for your reply!
