    You said to to charge certain prices upfront for the challenges where if they hit a certain goal they get money back or gym credit, yet when do we charge them. Do we collect their credit card over the phone during one of the reach outs? charge them during their first class? or another time?

      Have to disagree there, obviously you need to be in the right area, but if you can offer high quality training facilities, with the best trainers offering PT and group ex, with top class facilities maintained to the highest standards, then that's a great foundation. Don't forget there's more than just "the gym", people are looking at "wellness" a lot more now so things like yoga, hot yoga, steam and sauna, cold plunge, there's a market out there

      @@jackp80have to disagree with your disagreement independent gyms never make it in this market only big chain companies, an independent gym can’t afford to loose memberships they be closed within a year if they don’t have enough active members

      Absolute cap. 24 hrs fitness studios will get crushed by group fitness studios. Crunches members actually showed up they will go out of business. Cash flow doesnt match what they would put out in maintenance

    lol, no. Each market sector has different margins depending on risk. The margin of an industry is determined by the risk beta times the market rate. If everyone could just go out and guarantee 30% returns the indexes wouldn’t just make 7% average. A restaurant as an example has a 30/30/30 for food, labor, and rent. The cap rate on a restaurant is 7-10 years making the average return somewhere around 10-15%. Construction companies make 2% NET, but that even depends on the risk, as you get further down the hierarchy into third and fourth tier subs the expected margin increases but the risk of not being paid also goes up. Clips like this make teenagers and college students think that evil corporate overlords are out there taking their 30%.

    Lmao calling a $150/month gym a mid range gym is insane. I’d call the “low end” of gym memberships anything under $30. I’d say midrange stops somewhere around $70. You could argue I’m pulling these numbers out of my ass, but then again, so are you.

    Bro is knocking multi-level sales while pitching you how to do multi-level sales with his brand. 😂

    • @GymLaunch
      @GymLaunch Місяць тому

      Multi-level marketing companies incentivize two things: 1) Growing your downline/network of sellers 2) Product sales And they pay commissions/bonuses for both of those. We do not - there is no downline, there is no recruitment of other affiliates, there is zero incentive outside of selling the actual products. It's just like a wholesale model without the upfront cost of inventory

    • @JustaJuggernaut
      @JustaJuggernaut Місяць тому

      Great trainers are vital to a gym - and they should be compensated fairly...but unless they're bringing in new business (which most do not in large group training facilities) they're not "feeding" the owner. Tough one to swallow for a lot of gym owners and trainers...
