Hi, great conversion kit. I like the accuracy and neat placement of the accessories installed in the jet as for the Turbine which size can be used can the 60 or 80 size fit?
Xicoy 45 or 60 size can. Anything larger will require some foam removal around engine. I don’t recommend anymore power than 50N
Thank you it may seem basic but I was a bit confused about the single black wire because my instructions that came with my light set weren’t clear or in English. But your videos helped me out a great deal!

Which one fly’s the best. Avanti? T-33? Cougar? … and lands the best?
Zeus is the best followed closely by the T33. Avanti next then Cougar
Thx. The Zeus. .. hmm that’s a surprise since it has a bad habit, when the hor stab gets blanketed. I guess, knowing/dealing with that is manageable.
I have a K-60 .. I assume is too big, size wise .. the X60 is on long pre order.
No experience with the K60. Don’t known why everyone is complaining about the Zeus landing. I think it land the best of all the conversions. Aft cg is the answer. Nose comes up nice. You can carry power on landing No tendency to drop a wing at all
Comment/you answered my question, and that is did you notice any bad habits, as the hor stab is nearly in line with the wing (hor stab is lower than most of this design .. below the nozzle instead of above), and gets blanketed when the flaps are down. High alpha, flaps down, slow speed = hor stab stall …

Excellent videos , well explained , just one question , do you remove the Vent Plug before flying? or you leave it closed , also, why don't you do a loop with the vent hose as they do it with the 3d planes ? or is no required for turbines ? thanks

Paul. This is fantastic work you’re doing. Back when I flew my first turbine foamy, there were very few options back in 2015. I just knew a small turbine jet was possible, however practically none existed. I have an early (V2?) HSD Super Viper 105, that I still fly, albeit many mods/upgrades/ improvements to this very early version.

Zeus best flight time. T33 best flyer. They all fly good zeus is easy to convert. T33 needs to be very organized up front. Viper fairly easy to convert. Avanti is hardest

I think you were a little hard ok the quality. Its a foam plane designed for edf not turbine. Its cool what you have done to convert now you will have tighten the airframe up some.
Hi, you done an excellent conversion setup of components and the neat placement of parts and the Viper 90mmtotally love the jet i have the 70mm v3 and want to go with the turbine setup on the 90mm which turbine is installed ? Love it! Can the foam handle high G maneuvers with the turbine i'm sure it does i just seen some videos of jets being torn apart in flight .Nice Jet

The eflight viper jet has a 40 ounce tank
I went with a dual nose wheel brake on my FW MiG-29. 75mm wheels/brakes gave me too much headache with CG. Works great!

Hey Paul great build series! I noticed you are using a Castle 10a BEC, is this what you use on all your foam turbines? I was just concerned that if you have say 8 CH on a receiver wouldn’t that potentially be too much. Castle specs state they will only support 4 standard Non-digital servos, essentially a small plane?
I use the 10 amp castle blue bec on all my models. No issues at all

why freewing dont offer this from factory is beyond me.
The amount of people converting these models to turbine is probably only .01%. I’m sure it’s not worth Freewing even considering production of a ready to fly turbine model

Great conversion and awesome flight. Did you check the fastest speed? I really want to know about it. My 6S version Zeus recorded the fastest speed only 194km/h. It makes me frustrated a little bit.

My conversion kit will include the pipe, tank and all wood parts necessary to complete the conversion. 300.00. Brakes, uat, and bec will be extra. Detailed conversion videos will be coming out late December
The Viper is a killer air frame.
Paul, just wondering how you find the fuel burn compared to the X45? Also, what size tank?
The Zeus has a 46 ounce tank. From past experience the eflight viper jet has a 40 ounce tank. Using a X45 I could fly for 7.5 minutes. When the put in a X60 I could only fly for 6 minutes

Yes I do complete conversions for customers. Most of them are ready for turbine, receiver and batteries
