Music Director Sebastian Lang Lessing - Future of the San Antonio Symphony
Just try to keep up with the lyrics and make sure you don't miss a lik ,not to minton the 12 string guitar ❤😮
Maybe Ed Sullivan should have notes in front of him, enabling him to pronounce the correct names of the contributing stars. Larry Kent? I'm surprised that he didn't announce "Julie Anderson" in My Fair Lady!
I always enjoyed his music - who wouldn’t - but when he found Jesus his soul opened up to the gift as God intended. His gospel music was the best!!
I can remember being young seeing this and wondering what the Japanese actors thought of playing Chinese characters.
Long live glen campbell😅😅😅😅😅
The only comfort is being able to listen to him every day, or I have been in love with Glenn Campbell since I was 9 or 10 years old, when he sang in a group, I had never seen his face, I only got to know him years later when my brother bought an LP. imported, and I confess that I didn't think he was handsome, I didn't like blondes. For 30 years now, I have fallen completely in love with him for his music, and as long as I breathe I will listen to him, love him and pray that he is very happy wherever he is ❤
LONGING 💔
I actually helped level out the yard of the house Glenn built for his parents,Wess and Carey, in Bill'stown Arkansas with my father in-law Hiiton Calley.
Fabulous
This is heaven - esp Dame Julie as Eliza
Glen seemed so Happy when he was Singing!
Debbie is a great singer.she should be recording.
not that big D. ed sullivan show was amazing with great talent of a variety of people who ecame super stars and more amazing talented people who became regular people but stil awesome people.
You heard the rarely heard tenor voice of Shorty Long whose voice impacted me at 11 yrs old in Philly. Show later moved on to Broadway.
A most interesting video! Thank you for sharing Mr. Berg!
🥰👏🏼👏🏼
The acting is pretty old fashioned, even stiff, but the document is fascinating. To see Ezio Pinza, Walter Slezak, wow!
If you’re playing the Bruch concerto for Juilliard at 5.5 years old, how much do you really need Juilliard?
I called Shorty Long at home a week after he had died: I was hoping to have my TMHF score signed by as many cast members as I could… great score!! What a musical!!❤❤❤❤❤
Loved his pure lyrical tenor voice!
Loved Ed and Claire Felt!!
He’s amazing! So talented.
Here's another no intro or mention in these credits!!!
So I guess this is Florence Brady bunch Henderson??
Larry Kent?
It’s Larry Kert
Just a week after 9/11 me and m y wife saw him in Branson and everyone was still hurting, and he sung the Lee Greenwood God Bless the USA song. As soon as he started singing ev1 was up out of their seats and eyes were watering up. I'll never forget that.
Dam is this real
Did she say ,she was horny ??
Thanks for posting this video. It's great to learn more the about the conducting change and especially about Sarah as I love music and worked with her father.
I am veryproud of Sarah, my daughter in law, who died shortly after this video was completed of a liver cancer infection that was masked beneath an otherwise healthy young and promising young conductor. She is dearly missed and all of her friends and family are so grateful that her obvious talent and ambition were captured on film. Her life was tragically cut too short as she would have been another musical pioneer for females to pursue orchestral conducting. RIP Sarah.
Will never stop loving thid❤
🎹 Flower Drum Song is a truly glorious Rodgers and Hammerstein score. Right up there with their best. I have always loved it. And those rich and full orchestrations! 🎹
Wow!😀
How very wonderful
Sullivan was a great fan of opera and musical theater. He was also a good friend of Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball, who had wisely invested much in the show. Sullivan's attention (presenting scenes from Broadway shows) made My Fair Lady and Camelot hits. In those cases, like this one, they are the only surviving visual records of the original productions. Sullivan owned his TV show and made sure the kinescopes and tapes were not destroyed.
Every time I here Glen is like the first time. Just love him so much!! Such incredible talent, love of art and craft. Beautiful voice and best guitarist of all time!
And Davy Jones doing the artful Dodger. I was wondering why his cockney accent was so weird.
Gold dust. Nice to the original Fosse choreography for Down Inside from Little Me. Thank you for posting.
😚
Another great performance by Glen, great seeing it. Also great to see Glen's daughter Debby Campbell singing with Glen, her talent was underappreciated, especially by Glen's last wife.
Oh. I see he passed away 2018.
Remarkable work. Do you have an email address for him?
This is the only video I’ve ever seen of the OC of Little Me. Sid Caesar was in great form.
Im 65 and seen them all from Clapton to pink Floyd to Dewayne almond the best of players but none like glen Campbell i kick myself in the ass for not having seen him RIP GLEN CAMPBELL THE BEST THANK YOU 🙏
Glen had that rare magic about him that keeps him timeless long after his passing. Such a special talent. Saw his farewell show at San Antonio's Majestic Theater. It was an incredible night of joy and sentiment for me. You could feel the adoration emanating from the audience. An atmosphere unlike any other. R.I.P. to America's treasure Glen Campbell.
I live in San Antonio and did not know that his final show was at the Majestic. But I was on the host committee and the convention committee of Rotary’s that without a doubt wanted him to come to entertain our 24,000 attendees at its annual convention here in San Antonio in 2001.
Forget about the artists. I thought Ed was the best.
thank you for uploading this!
8:00 And here we are 35 years later and we did it again in Abu Dhabi.
Lerner and Lowe sure know how to write a tune to showcase a vocalist.
WOW! Julie Andrews was amazing. The voice and the diction You hear every consonant

@@jimberg3088 goodness. thanks so much. i will follow that link. Is it a good networking organization as well?
@@dabneyoffermein595 yes. But the service members do for others leads to the best & meaningful networking. FOR EXAMPLE…Our Club of nearly 400 has donated & built >20 large playgrounds for kids whose schools haven’t been able to provide same. Each costs >$100,000.
@@jimberg3088 Thank you so much for the information. Sounds like you do wonderful things for the less fortunate and you are to be commended. That's amazing work and I'm sure a considerable time investment, among the other obvious contributions. Bravo!
55:57 He gave the little girl his guitar pick. That's so cute.
Wow what memories! I was there in 1968, the year I turned 10 years old. Thank you for the video!
