I don't think so you can migrate data. Cross platform migration is a tedious and risky!

You can create all activities in one section(Topic). This way you will see only one grey line(section). Or try changing thr course format.

Login as an admin and go to Site administration > Plugins > Install plugins. (If you can't find this location, then plugin installation is prevented on your site.) Please give me more details like 1. How many other admins are there? 2. What role is given to you, because Manager and Course Creator see site admin option but they have limited functionality.

@@LMSTutorial Thank you very much for your answer! I'm the only admin in this moodlesite. Its my first moodle site. Everything works fine, lessons, badges, assignments etc. The only problem is that the client wants to change the default boost theme to academia or something similar and i think the plugin installation is prevented as you said. The moodle site is hosted in moodle cloud. After searching almost everything i found this: " Installing your own theme is not possible on MoodleCloud, however you are able to customise many aspects of the themes we have available." Is it possible to transfer the site to an other hosting provider to fix my problem? Thank you for your time!

Hello, thanks for the question. So from frontend there is no way to block install plugin. This can be done from backend making some changes in config files. There is a work around. Site Admin have most of the permissions. If you want, you can give users the role of Manager or Course Creator. I hope that should solve your purpose. Hello Maria, first of all thank you very much for going through thr tutorials and sharing your feedback. Please follow the steps to see the courses. Solution one: 1. Click on Home option. You will be able to see all courses. From participants enroll students. You also enroll yourself to see courses. Turn editing ON to edit further. Solution two: From Site Administration, select Manage categories and courses. Here you can see all courses. If you still face a problem, do let me know. We can connect via a zoom call and I can provide you solution real time.

Yes, I think you should! I am trying now to set up my moodle platform for online courses and the instructional videos I found here in UA-cam were too short and not enough explanatory (I have no computer programming knowledge). Your videos not only helped me to it set up, but also install it, which is the most difficult part. Now if you know even more online tools you definitely should do it.

You can see grades after each activity tou complete. Also while creating the courses you need check the show grades option.

Yes, you can set themes for each course. Please see below how to do it. 1. Site Administrator > Appearance > Themes > Themes Settings. 2. Tick the "Allow course themes" and "save changes". 3. Now go to course and select "edit settings" from navigation. 4. In the course setting page expand "Appearance" section and select "force theme". 5.
