I have a Bali cordless blind, basically the same as shown in your video above. The problem that I have and can't figure out is that on one side there are two lines, but on the second side there is only one. When installed, it is the top down counterbalance. Can you shed any light on how I remedy this situation? Thanks in advance for your assistance.

LEGEND!! This worked a treat, thank you! ❣ 11 years later - wow!😲 I've just replaced these capactitors on my Onkyo TX-SR607 and it worked a treat! All the HDMI's work again straight away without having to wait 20 minutes for it to warm up. Like others have said, on the SR607 the 5 caps are all on the bottom of the HDMI board and they are really easy to replace if you follow these instrctions. Using the piece of bluetac to hold the caps whilst you solder them is a master stroke! What a tip!! 😆 I'd have never been able to do it without the bluetac.. 🤣 I replaced mine with 16v ones from Ali Express which came in at about £5 (and I accidentally ordered 60 of them!, instead of 6). They were slightly larger, but in truth that probably made it easier to position them. Apparently they are 105c ones, but I'll not hold my breath.. 😅 My only remaing problem now is the OSD still doesn't work, but I'm going to try a reset and see if that does anything. The unit is definitely trying now because the screen flashes off and back on when I exit the setup menus from the LCD readout.

15 years (26 in 2024)? That is for choir boys. Mine has 32 years and still works, I'm going to change it now... because last year the LCD was fainting more and more. I didn't even know it had a battery, how could have one and keep working after decades? I just wondered if this fainting was irreversible and find out what the reason was.

Hello, I have the same amplifier. My issue is I am not getting any audio through the speakers or headphones. Everything else works, ie recognises audio in via optical/HDMI/RCA etc, and can decipher what audio format it is. Any ideas on what might be wrong with the audio output? The Audysey setup mic feature will not work either. Thanks

10 years old video but keeps on giving! I just bought a TX-SR606 from FaceBook Marketplace without testing first (shame on me). Lo and behold HDMI not working. The previous owner not only told me HDMI was working, but obviously attempted this same repair (shame on him!). I removed all his butchered soldering job caps and replaced with brand new as per this video. Worked like a charm! This video saved me $75, I know it's not much, but it's a matter of a principle. Thank you for great content!

Mine are wood so I didn’t mind using silicon spray. First I lubed the spring mechanism and that did nothing. Then I lubed anything that moves against something else. Some improvement but still needs lots of persuasion to go up.

The 607 is slightly different then the 607. I replaced all 21 capacitors on this board of the 607 and after that HDMI is working again. So, a lot of 100 uF SMD, some 220 uF and the rest is 470 uF. The little one on the 607 board, the 22 uF, wasn't in stock so did not replace that one and it seems not necessary to replace that one too, it's working again with replacing all 20 of the 21 capacitors.

Help! Does anyone have any idea what the generic item numbers for these capacitors please? I've typed in the C8002 type numbers and can't find a thing in the Digikey site as recommended. I can only find one that OP corrected in the description section of this video?

Thank you soo much I bought one of these models at a yard sale and didn't have any paper work what so ever...couldn't find anything from manufacture online but after finding your video I was able find the problem (stuck piston) got it unstuck and clean it all up....works fine..again thank you for posting this info, Dan...even if it is 13 years old you are still helping folks out...
