@@TheGShockWatcher I have the promaster land jv1007 with the rubber band. I want the jv1008 - 63e camo version on the bracelet. I already ordered it. It is a more limited version and harder to find. But next month will arrive.

I would agree, the price... well at full retail, might be a bit high, but if you get it on a sale I think its a reasonable purchase, I wear it regularly enough as a knock around watch, or when I need to match something with the grey color.

Let me go test this, and see what happens, I can check the app to see if its syncing if it maintains connection, I think the challenge is once you connect via bluetooth, then click anything else it will disconnect

I did see this about Auto Time Correction that happens four times a day if your phone is in Time Keeping mode support.casio.com/global/en/wat/manual/5719_en/UQIDSYzgsmuplz.html, Ill try and check, but might be tough to validate the last update once connected, because as soon as I connect, it will do another sync.

Yeah I am a fan of the proper solid Master of Gs, I feel like the only ones that stay true today are the Mudmasters and the Frogmasters.

You know what, I was taking a look at the second hand Burton's and the concern I have is those nice white ones seem to start to fade, or grey out after a while, take a look at this one, buyee.jp/item/yahoo/auction/r1156660197?conversionType=YahooAuction_DirectSearch, would love to know your thoughts. I do like it, but the discoloration could be a killer.

Thanks for the support mate, I don’t mind Bluetooth on the watch as long as I don’t have to charge it with a cable, Tough solar delivers a pretty decent charge for the later mudmasters. I think it’s more the active GPS and fitness tracking which really impacts the battery life.

It’s not something I have noticed while I have owned this watch. The negative display is a little harder to read to be honest though.

You know it's growing on me, I have been wearing it all day today, and it's a pretty comfortable watch, and I like the gray and light blue combo. Again, I dont use any of the additional features, but I done mind it as a watch, Its easy to read and uncomplicated.

Yeah, those GPW-2000s are something else... even second hand they go anywhere between $400 to $800, very impressive value for them. I look at these and the Gulfmaster and wonder to myself what would be the next one to check out. A friend of mine just bought a Gulfmaster and I was very impressed with the watch.

@@TheGShockWatcher I'm wearing my GWN-Q1000MC right now, funnily enough (Gulfmaster quad sensor with the factory combi bracelet). It's also another underrated great in my book for sure. Between the GPW-2000 and the GWN-Q1000 I think it's down to personal preference. I'm kind of enamored by both, so I went with both. I will say that they're both monsters and I'd recommend them for someone with at least an 18cm (~7in) wrist for them to fit right in daily wear. Of course they are tool watches and so the outsized look can be fine, just be aware of that. GPW-2000 features a unique variant of a top end MR-G module, GWN-Q1000 has its own unique module focused on putting the tide and barometer up front, and has just about every capability a G-Shock can have! You really can't go wrong with either, so long as you don't mind how they fit.

The only wrong that will happen is when my wife finds out I buy them... LOL

Lightweight yes, not sure if it's at comfort yet, it feels a bit hard on the resin... some of the Rangemans I thought were more comfortable. I do need to spend more time with the watch, especially features manually... my challenge is I keep changing use, and have to realign mindset.

Glad you do, I wanna like it more, perhaps I need to spend more time with it.

@@TheGShockWatcher I'll admit that I just leave the dual time the same because I'm not actually ever traveling between timezones but it's for sure an extra dial that brings another dimension to the watch. At first I didn't appreciate the extra motor that rotates every 60 seconds but if you pay attention to it, it's not a cheap gimmick it seems to keep things afloat when your just chugging along. I would have rather bought the mtgb3000 because that rotor is just another 24 hour dial for home time. That's what you want, but it cost so so so much more.

Oh I love some of those MTG-B3000, I especially like the Moon Rabbit release, that is one I am going to have to try and keep an eye Buyee for, I know there is one there, but its upwards of $1,500, and I know I am going to be in trouble for that purchase if I did it.

Yes definitely has tough solar.

Arguably the Bluetooth time adjustment is less hassle and more reliable, than Atomic Multiband.

It is, I guess its more about time adjustments being made in the background for your watch without an effort to unlock the app, sync and adjust.

It really is a stunner Rangeman mate!
