    ups's and renting a place and shelves and lights and eveything else to start a print farm.... well.. you can start in your bedroom, but sooner or later printers will have to find their own room...

    1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word WAS God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. John 1:1-5 Jesus equating Himself with the Great I AM - 54 Jesus answered, “If I honor Myself, My honor is nothing. It is My Father who honors Me, of whom you say that He is your God. 55 Yet you have not known Him, but I know Him. And if I say, ‘I do not know Him,’ I shall be a liar like you; but I do know Him and keep His word. 56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad.” 57 Then the Jews said to Him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?” 58 Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.” John 8:54-58 News Flash. "I AM" is the same God as the One who created the heavens, the earth and everything/one in them. Just read the account of Moses and the burning bush and who God says sent Moses to Pharaoh. Also read Genesis 1:26 and see that the Creator is at least 2 parts and the third part/person was mentioned earlier, the Holy Spirit hovering over the surface of the deep. "26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” Notice the plural pronouns Us and Our. If there is only One God who created everything/person then that must mean He is triune just like Jesus said over and over again in His earthly ministry years. Jesus Christ & the Father - 22 Now it was the Feast of Dedication in Jerusalem, and it was winter. 23 And Jesus walked in the temple, in Solomon’s porch. 24 Then the Jews surrounded Him and said to Him, “How long do You keep us in doubt? If You are the Christ, tell us plainly.” 25 Jesus answered them, “I told you, and you do not believe. The works that I do in My Father’s name, they bear witness of Me. 26 But you do not believe, because you are not of My sheep, as I said to you. 27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. 28 And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. 30 I and My Father are one.” John 10:22-30 The Holy Spirit - 12 “I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. 13 However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. 14 He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. 15 All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you. John 16:12-14

  • @Meh-2023
    @Meh-2023 5 днів тому

    You could consider the finished good as a single part number and the parts, labor and time as individual parts in the finished good Bill of Materials. This way you can measure the individual parts performance and adjust accordingly. If the cost of a purchased part goes up, it will automatically calculate the finished good cost. Then you're only working with units produced, units sold, etc.

    At the end of the day, you also have to realize that you are offering and selling the lowest of the low standard of manufactured products. An FMD 3D printed part simply isn't any kind of competition compared to an injection molded or CNC'd part. FMD 3D printed products are nothing more than toy grade novelties.

    I am a 64 year old lifelong artist thats new to 3D Printing. Way back in the day I learned Lightwave and Maya for a few projects so I have some chops. Recently picked up Nomadsculpt on my kids suggestion. And I have a few designs I would like to get printed. There are a ton of videos on getting into 3D printing business but very few on what a customer should expect when doing a project with one. I am interersted in finding out what to look for in a good 3D printing service, what they will and wont do. And what they expect from me ie: cleaning, resine profiles, supprted, unsupported files,etc.Thanks

    Wow , up until I found this video I was clueless on how to make my next product, I've done the non-stop competitive product route and it leads to burnout time for something more sustainable. And I think you've just helped me create a multi million dollar idea that will last for years to come and benefit everyone in the specific niche, if it does scale I'll be sure to give back a favor. Thank you so much

    This was super informative, thanks! I have my own simple print cost calculator in Google Sheets that I've used and shared for years but it only included a "cost per print minute" field rather than considering the life of the machine, labor, or profit margins so I've updated it to include those things. It's nowhere near as detailed as your excel sheets and I'd never use it in an invoice but it's great for rough/quick ballparks. docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1mg8AxwLEQth6RH1jOSit3emLqgL7mKZg2cugyjT5uIk/edit?usp=sharing

    What size did you cut the boards to for your shelving? I have the shelving and am getting ready to get the boards cut to size when I pick them up at a lumber yard. I am getting 22" x 17.5" for each square, which should leave a very small gap between each printer. Just wondering if you recommend adjusting that size at all.

    In some parts of the country the cost of a kw hour is a LOT more. Based on my last electric bill here in the Boston area the cost of Electricity is about $0.148 / KW hour. However there are numerous other surcharges! These add up to $0.1764 / KW hour, for a Total cost of $0.324 / KW hour. That's more than TWICE the cost you used! In the Boston MA area we pay separate charges for the energy and the transmission of the energy, IE: costs for the use of the grid. There are charges for electric vehicle usage (even if YOU don't own one), and connection of solar systems (even if YOU don't own this), as well as charges for upgrading electric meters (even if yours wasn't due for upgrade), etc, etc, etc...... Welcome to the future!

      @davidmcdonald7246 2 дні тому

      You shouldn’t price to the market, if you can’t produce something at the market rate and you don’t have some other value add with your product (better features giving other benefits to the user) then find a different or better product to sell, no point selling at the market rate and not getting a decent return - you’ll just end up being a busy fool.
