If you hold the pinpointer about 3 or 4 inches away from the pole and hit the button once, you will be able to pick up the item next to the pole without picking up the pole.

I didnt recieve any eauipment but i bought the XP 280 backpack, it fits my deus and deus 2, well its only meant for 2 coils, but i can fit 3 in the coil pocket, when i get a fourth coil maybe i can fit it in the shaft pocket, because i dont need 2 shafts in there when the deus and deus 2 use the same shaft Unfortunately the legend has no chance of hell fitting in the XP backpack, and the nokta backpack was low quality, mine is in rags after 1 year of use, now the zipper broke, thats why i bought the XP backpack, but ill sew some velcro onto the nokta back pack to keep it closed, and use it for the legend only if i want to take the legend out sometime Also i could fit my predator phoenix shovel in my nokta back pack, but the xp backpack you have to strap the shovel on the back of it, it feels like a little more work then just throwing it in to strap and unstrap it every time Hopefully this back pack last me 2 years, as it was double the price of the nokta backpack and the nokta lasted me 1 year

I just got an Accupoint for Christmas and tried it out a few days ago. I can see it will be a huge learning curve as I felt like I was missing a lot of pinpointing. I went back to my Garrett AT for the time being. I will try the Accupoint when I have more time and patience. What are your thoughts on it?

As a female, It's easier for me to hit the tot lots when there's children there.And it also gives me the opportunity to include them on what i'm doing. That way, I hope to inspire others to get into metal detecting, because they are our future. I totally understand being on the other side of that coin, why it would probably make you feel very uncomfortable to be there, and that is personal preference. The way I see it, you do you and I'll do me. But like I said it is very understandable being a male, why it would be uncomfortable.

Thanks for the entertainment. It's 20 degrees right now in Colorado Springs. Highs will be in mid 30's. The ground is too frozen to get my shovel in.

I find very little at that park anymore. Has gotten too trashy last few years.

I found $1.30 in clad and a silver ring. I thought no way it was silver. It is stamped Sterling inside. So I tested it and it is silver. I asked the clerk at the 7-11 if I could detect the rocks infront of the store. Would have done more but the wind started up and almost knocked me on my bum.

Tex- I grew up in Iowa and Country music wasn't nearly as popular as it is today. I still am not familiar with the Genre. In the 80's I was listening to Rush, Def Leppard, Chicago & others. I still jam to 80's music! Good to see your ground is not frozen there! Were expecting upper 40's for temps today so plan on getting out for awhile. Nice hunt again! Best of luck in 2025!

I have a couple of belts I refused to toss when I should have. The chrome wears away to a copper core.. That could be your highly conductive signal
