    Nice ! Lol I understand why you dug into it 😂. My grandmother always layered it crust fruit crust fruit and the final crust on top ! Me and my grandfather would go pick wild blackberries to make it ! Served with homemade ice cream ! Oh my my mouth is watering from the taste I remember ! Yours looks so good. Sometimes she’d drop dumplings in the fruit !

    That’s how my mama cooked. She cooked measuring nothing and everything was delicious. She would make cakes, pies, etc. As kids, when she was at work, my sisters and I would play “restaurant” and sell my mama’s food to our friends. Great first video and thanks for the memories😊.

      You don’t want it too thick, even though it was hard to tell by the video, it will thicken some and get absorbed by crust some. You can add more sugar to taste, sugar will thicken too. 😊
