I hope the release of these new any cubic machines will have it all together. They still need to address everything with the kobra3 combo. If the kobra3 max can deliver, it certainly going to be a great multicolor machine. Bambulab is still hard to beat in terms of price and performance. Idk of about the prusa core one, looks kind of tinkery and hard to self assemble. Just hope it delivers in print quality.

Subscribed! Wish i could have made it out that way. If i could give a suggestion on what I'd like to see in future videos; maybe more of a focus on the machine or technology. You're great but when describing the new tech would be awesome to get close up

Prusa's offering is embarrassing at best. He's 18months behind Bambu, 9 months behind Creality, and brings out this "basic bitch" of a machine. more than a Carbon, most than a Caron with AMS (in a sale) Being able to upgrade from the mk4 doesn't say "we made this great option for you" it says "we made our new printer out of 4 year old parts" It's such a slap in the face.

Will you be supplying the Prusa MK4S to Core One upgrade kit? If so, when do you expect to be accepting orders?

This machine has too much noise, and it seems that the hot end fan cannot be turned off. It has many interfaces that can control the fan, but it uses a normally open interface to control the motherboard cooling fan. This machine has strong scalability, but the original configuration is really stupid

At 1200 dollars, this thing will destroy the bambus and crealitys in the west.

Don’t ever trust 3D printer “reviewers”. The Creality K1 max is $679 currently (on sale) and the two trees SK1 w/ enclosure is $546 currently. If we assume this is the price range for beginner printers then his omission of the Bambu P1S confirms that he is bought by these companies. The P1S is currently $549 and is the ideal printer for a novice user and is great for the experienced user as well. It could later be upgraded to print with the AMS system too.

The part being printed on the SK1 (10:20) is full of surface artifacts. It appears to be VFA or ghosting. Of all, are it and the mk4 the ones that print with the best quality?

Awesome video. I use both the Creality K1C and the Anycubic Kobra3. I like them both but I would like to add a couple of my struggles with them: - Creality K1C has an error log with exceptions that aren't mentioned anywhere. It has the print head populated and ready for a lidar module (like the K1 Max) but doesn't detect it after multiple checks (firmware issue maybe?). The prints are great and rarely fail. - The Anycubic Kobra3 is also great, however there are more issues with this printer both HW and SW. For the hardware part, the clearance between the bed and the z axis motor is so small that if you put the PEI sheet just a bit twisted to the left (the guide is mostly useless) the printer will saw 🪚 through its own z axis bracket. The LCD has a much dangerously exposed flex ribbon cable (cable management issues?). For better adhesion, I use a glue stick. The slicer software "next" allows you to send G-code for a Bamboo to a Kobra3 printer. 🤦🏻‍♂️This should not be possible. It also always retracts and wastes too much filament (even after tweaking the settings). On quiet mode (which I use for delicate parts) it still makes some unneeded rapid low movements (why do that? it may work better when changing the settings in the slicer but I'm not sure).

My printer keeps restarting itself all the way back to the language options when I try to use the self detecting, does anyone know what’s up?

The belt pulley rod is screwed at just one point, does this cause wobble?

I never built or owned a 3d printer but I still really really enjoyed building the voron 2.4. It's more difficult than following an ikea/lego manual because you have to cross reference 3-4 manuals, but the steps make a lot of sense and mistakes can be solved, like how I managed to install the gantry in reverse, so I just unscrewed the build plate together with the extrusions and rotated it 180 degrees to solve it lol

Anycubic updated their slicer and it is 10x better. Looks and functions just like Orca or Bambu Studio

Thanks for this. My upgrade kit just came in a few hours ago. There was a bit of deja-vu, as I built a Mk3s and my present Mk4 from kits - which I HIGHLY recommend as one gets valuable insights into the working of the beastie.

Upgrades will always be a thing someone will want to do or die in the attempt...........upgrades exist only in the extent of the imagination.......anything is possible if you imagine there is a problem you can't understand.
