Hello, I'm Kevin from Mexico, I'm learning jewelry on my own, but I can't move forward alone anymore, I need help. No matter how many sanding videos I have watched, I have not achieved a good result. For some reason, finer sandpaper leaves very deep scratches that polishing does not remove. I have sanded by hand and with a Dremel and the annoying scratches always appear.

I removed myself from a bad lot of people several years ago, they were friends I grew up with and knew all my life, but they were extremely selfish and constantly used me and abused my loyalty. But since removing myself from the riff-raff my physical and mental health have improved. My productivity in my workshop and in my mind have produced ideas that I never thought I'd think of.

For confirming this, I run a (part-time) jewelry business & I have had family members and returning customers , whom became familiar with me, try to ask where to find vendors or how to start.... I, too, remember not knowing anything and I relied heavily on those you listed: Google, UA-cam, internet & etc... it was hard work & I did my research, so it made me feel a bit unsettled when people tried to bypass the research bc it didn't fall into my lap nor did I have a mentor. I had to put in the work 💕 & I totally agree, I am still learning bc the business is growing and expanding. Knowledge is power!
