I appreciate this video. I think, though, philosophically speaking, there isn't opposition between freedom, on the one hand, and necessity, on the other. Causality implies there is, but causality is a concept, not a fact. It is a way of thinking and talking about facts. But it isn't the only way. For me, I think about the relationship between freedom and necessity this way: That which is necessary is free. To give an example (or analogy), if I am holding a bucket with a plug in it that is filled with water and I unplug the bucket, the water will freely flow out. Nothing "caused" the water to come out. But it did do so necessarily, as an expression of the relationship between the water in the bucket, the ground and the hole in the bucket. This freedom is not volitional, but autonomous. It is uncaused, yet conditioned. Conditionality is not causality, and it is a concept we can use to understand events in the universe. With this way of understanding, we do not need to presuppose that if God is not a cause, then God is a volitional agent. Those aren't our only options. For me, God is autonomous, not volitional. The universe is necessitated by God, but this necessity occurs freely, as an expression of God's will.

Assalamulaylum, I think you would be interested to see the views of Norman Wildberger (Insights into Mathematics UA-cam channel). I think it pairs well with the kalami/philosophical critique of actual infinity, and critiques actual infinity from a mathematical perspective. He is a big critic of contemporary set-theoretic orthodoxy. Not saying that his arguments are perfect or should be accepted uncritically, but I think they act as a good reference.
