WHAT IS KRIYA YOGA? It's a sacred science designed to align and purify your mind and body for liberation, samadi, self-realization, or kundalini awakening. Experience the magic of tapping, breath work, and dynamic movement as Kriya detoxifies and elevates your energy. Let your chakras open like a freshly cleaned pipe!
WHAT IS A "KRIYA"? Kriya represents an "action" within the yoga discipline aimed at achieving specific results.
WHERE DID KRIYA COME FROM?: Originating from Mahavatar Babaji, Kriya is an ancient Indian spiritual practice crafted as a fast track to enlightenment. Previously, it was a closely guarded secret passed from master to select disciples. Kriya shines in 'Autobiography of a Yogi' by Yogananda.
HOW WILL I FEEL AFTER A PRACTICE? Most practitioners experience a wave of calm, relaxation, lightness, and empowerment, feeling reborn and more sensitive. Some may encounter intense emotions. Detox symptoms can arise. Expect deep sleep or peculiar dreams, fluctuating appetite, and shifting physical discomfort. If you feel lightheaded or ungrounded, simply lay on your belly with your forehead to the earth, or find comfort in child pose. Eating post-practice can be helpful.
MY EMOTIONS ARE OVERWHELMING! If your emotions, stress or traumas are overwhelming, it may help to acknowledge and witness these feelings without getting completely absorbed by them. Keep eyes open and look up meditatinf on the sky to prevent emotional overwhelm. If it helps, you can ask yourself, "Are my problems bigger than the sky?"
WHY DO I FEEL SO HOT? The fire in Kriya ignites from your breath! Ujjai and deep breathing can heat up your body. To cool down, sit with your pinky touching your thumb, hands on the ground, and form a "U" shape with your tongue. Breathe slowly through your tongue tunnel for a minute.
WHY AM I TIRED? Your body might be purging and releasing emotional blockages, leading to detox symptoms like fatigue, which is completely normal. If you feel lightheaded you may be hyperventaling so breath slow calming breaths only.
WHAT IF ilatatCANNOT FOLLOW THE KRIYA? This energy yoga encourages you to follow your intuition! Kriyas can be tailored to your needs. Just stay present with your breath, as it can guide your practice. Sit instead of standing, tap gently, or lower the intensity as needed.
HOW CAN I BEST PREPARE FOR KRIYA PRACTICE? Do not eat before Kriya. Maintain a clean diet, regular hatha yoga practice and meditation.

      I remember sharing with you before about the excess fire from Kriya, particularly for someone like me who is older and has a dry constitution (vata in Ayurveda). I've found balance by limiting my Kriya practice to a maximum of 45 minutes daily, instead of the 2 hours or more that I used to do. I've also incorporated more Qigong and Vinyasa Yoga into my routine, as both of these practices include many water elements. Does this help people after surgery or body related issues that cause pain...? Anything in particular for overcoming pain that can help many who r given painkillers or have succumbed to any injury or recuperating after surgeries...? Thanks again!

    I am so glad to find your video on swimming dragon! I have literally been able to have a bowel movement every day. I have a question how many times should I do this? I am on a healing journey and it seems like lately I have been having issues because of the emotions and all. Thank you 🙏🏼

      I forgot to mention, congratulations on your better constitution because if can mean you are releasing stuck emotions, trauma or attachments if this can assist you, here are different ways to deepen your practice of Swimming Dragon: 1. Practice with the sound off and instead play music that you find very moving. 2. Practice in front of a full length mirror 3. Practice in the reverse direction...meaning instead of starting the practice with prayer hands like a pillow at your left shoulder, start at your right shoulder. Have a great day!

      @@dianexiuleiwat5715 Thank you. I actually have a twin flame who has helped me heal my inner child. Two years of healing and lots of layers and tons of meditation and tons of crying. It was very uncomfortable at first and at times very uncomfortable because it was painful. I literally had a hard time because it was not easy but I had no choice since my mirror reflected off of me what needed to be healed. It literally took time and patience. It was worth it though. I did some qigong on and off but my guidance wanted me to meditate so I can heal and at times I be shopping my twin would mirror me and I started crying.

    My right nostril started out partially blocked and now it’s worse and hurts a bit. What have I done wrong?

      I don't know what you did wrong, maybe nothing. Maybe it's deeper in the lungs. If the right side is blocked that is considered the Yang/fire/masculine/rising side. It could be that you need to balance by increasing Yang energy. Yin, which is the feminine/cooling/grounding/ energy is perhaps too strong.

    Great video! Could you consider making 1-hour kriya sessions? Sometimes it's hard to stop after a shorter one. Also, do you work out? You have a very muscular physique.

      Hello, If your health is good you can do daily. However, it's best to use your intuition or check with your doctor. Your skin benefits with kriya. The twisting is helpful for constipation. Thanks for your question!

      If you are a beginner to Kriya hold each pose a shorter time than what I offer in the video. If you have been doing Kriya for a long time you can hold the poses much longer than what I show.
