Creepier thralls ram home how grim that dark future is, weaponising people.. on a cheery note, those mech war droids are awesome, now they're plastic its hard to resist and as for that transport .. phwoar, so big and utterly weird in design, so cool. Look forward to seeing how far down the techno-rabbit hole you go.

These sculpts, and most of the hh sculpts, are just far beyond that of the current 40k releases. Great paint job.looking forward to seeing them on the battlefield.

Awesome looking finish. I got my box on Saturday and have built the Triaros so far. I haven't fully glued it together. You can quite safely build the left and right track units and the centre completely separately. I've also built the flare shield cover and left it off (as you did). I've left the guns and the big driver cogs off also for painting individually. Not sure how I'm going to do it, but I'd like to ge the big rear cogs painted either red or green or something so they look like they're off an 18th century steam engine or a steam tractor or something.

In the intro you said "the Thanatars are staying as a unit, that way orders effect both" but doesn't the Thanatar maniple special rule stop that from being a thing? specifically the last line that states after deployment they operate independently and do not treated as a single unit

The narration of the narrative during this battle report is top notch. It really sold what was going on in-universe; I loved how terrifying the Leviathan came across as being, and as an IW player with two of them, this was enough to make even Perturabo slightly lift the corner of his mouth in an approximation of a smile.

I've been a long Cult Mechanicus fan in 40k and really like the sculpts for the Hours Heresy Cult Mechanicum. The new battle group box is right up my alley. Great video!

So shiny, my precious. I think this is a great box, but such a shame these sculpts, plus aos, and necromunda sculpts are not available for 40k, or rules, or the fact that the sculptors seem to just be better than those working on 40k.

I’m so sorry Paul. This was not a good day for the Ultramarines. It was nice seeing you play Heresy, but as you said you need dedicated anti tank/ dreadnought. Also having some stuff that could churn through infantry like the despoilers would have been better to have on T1. Anyway, thank you so much for the amazing work as always. Have a wonderful day.

I love that you take the volkite support squad - loads of times im told they are not efficient, but im not trying to be i just like them! Heavy3 for a troops unit is decent!

Yessss. Ultramarines Strength of Wisdom are per model. Might of been me who pointed it out. I see people play it wrong all the time online. Good job! Have to ask though. Why is the Master of Signals not with a decent shooting squad? Seems strange to stick him in a terminator squad where he is useless.

Great game and content! Really enjoyed watching it, reminds me of good ol’ Winters, which is a good thing. P.S. When the Templar’s player explained the benefit of cover rule to you, he mentioned his dreadnaught could be considered a cover, giving him the benefit of cover, which he could not, because Vehicles are not considered to be a terrain piece that gives you the cover, they are just your units. If his units were fully out of line of sight behind his tank, then you wouldn’t be able to shoot at them at all, but if a unit seen behind a tank, you don’t have a cover if it’s a tank in your way, especially if they’re behind a walker like a dreadnought. Just my two cents. ;)
