I wanted to start Dawntrail today but I'm not leaving without my eyebrows...they stayed on patch 6.5 (Yeah they didn't solve any issue from benchmark 1.1)

I have an FC mate who hated Endwalker and felt it was a let down because 'there were no stakes'. They wanted someone to die, they wanted darkness and despair but they failed to see what Endwalker was about. Endwalker is a story of overcoming depression and finding light in the darkness. Endwalker is a story of pushing back the sorrow that life brings and finding happiness despite it all. Endwalker resonated with me in a way few other stories could. Dawntrail will be neat probably but NOTHING will ever come close to matching Endwalker for me. This is a beautiful tribute to it!

I've seen several tributes tonight... and they all made me tear up. I need to drink some water.

"....Tell me, has your journey been good?" This line hits me just as hard as "A smile better suits a hero." cuz god fucking damn it man, my journey both in life and in game has been up and down, left and right, and everything in between. Every time I think it cant get lower it does. but I rise to the occasion knowing that my WoL would as well. Because if not me, who else can shoulder those burdens and walk on? it's my journey and it wont end on anyone else's account but mine.

This is beautiful and reminds me why video games do so well for my heart ♥ FFXIV is so beautiful . Hope , Friendship......love.

To give you even more void: You will never see FFXIV like you used to do anymore.

I loved Endwalker. Sad to see how many hated it. As someone with depression, it really hit me in my soul.

This is soooo fitting!! I first discovered your channel right around when you did your Starship video which was around the time I was going from continuing ARR to getting caught up. Ever since then this has been by favorite channel for anything 14 related. Endwalker is next to X and 7 as some of my favorite FF games and this is such a great video for the end of one journey and the start of another!!

Hello my Xeala twin. Thank you for reminding us why we are still here. I was pretty much burned out by FFXIV the last few months. Maybe a fresh start to a new story is exactly what I need to fall in love with the game again.

Goodbye Endwalker... May we continue to walk and journey into the sun onto many more adventures! Endwalker was my favorite expansion with a story that resonated with me on a very personal level. While Dawntrail may not be able or capable of living up to it, I am none-the-less excite to experience whatever comes next.

Personally, im burned out on the game, but i still love it. I will return eventually. My wol needed a long rest after Endwalker.
