I wholeheartedly agree because when I first started playing ffxiv I was in a depressive like state where even my friends could very easily notice that I wasn’t how I normally am. I was putting up fronts to my family almost the whole time as well to make it seem like I was just fine. But once I started playing ffxiv and met the amazing community of ffxiv I gradually got better. Still dealing with what’s left of my depressive like state but I got ffxiv to help me out with just that. Cant wait to see what else there is in store in the next expansions
@@samugass6221 hell yeah. Wife left me for a new man. 10 years down the drain. Then said I been paying for this game but I never have time to play it. Then bam. So many people on here to help you feel like everything okay. And then getting blown up in dungeons and raids is pretty fun too XD
Very few games have quite captured the feeling of belonging that FFXIV has. It really feels like your own story. The slow beginning where nobody knows who TF you are and you're running around doing menial jobs, to the end where nearly everyone in the known world knows you by reputation of being the savior of worlds. You've reached the highest heights and the lowest lows, fought gods and demons, and even though you have this very small, select group of friends who have been through life, death, tragedy, and joy with you, your level of power and the expectations placed upon you leave you feeling isolated sometimes (something that I really loved about Shadowbringers), but the whole reason you keep fighting is for those you have lost, and those you might yet save.
