I think documentaries are often effective because there is the possibility of turning them off and you can choose to take in the information when you're ready. The irony is that the standard diet is already forceful by means of being required to opt out of meals with animal products but not needing to do that if you go along with the crowd. Re: Loving your neighbor. Would it be considered love to encourage or enable someone to use drugs or alcohol (or anything known to be unhealthy)? Of course not, right? If we look around us, we see people with heart disease, diabetes, cancers, and so many other diet and lifestyle diseases which could be reduced and/or eliminated by a whole foods, plant-based diet. So in the same way as with drugs and alcohol, it is not really loving others if we encourage or enable them to consume unhealthy items that the world calls “food”. And for those who say they just cant give up cheese (or other addictive products): ok, so don’t give them up. Just crowd them out. There are so many amazing foods out there, and we dont need to worry about “avoiding” or “eliminating” things from our diets so much, if we are so busy filling up on the truly good stuff!

This is the best argument for Christian veganism I've heard. There's a popular argument for Christian veganism at the moment that is throwing doubt on the word of God, I don't believe this helps and I don't believe it's necessary. In fact, it will only alienate vegans in the church more. As a Christian vegan I've faced hostility in church, I even had to sit through a sermon where a pastor was teaching that veganism is linked with paganism and contributed to the escalation of sin before the flood, which is why God told Noah to eat meat. This was done in a small church where everyone knew I was vegan. I pray that I will be able to answer people in the clear, well-articulated and non-confrontational way that this speaker does.

Love it. Am a Christian and were sincerely making thoughts, if it’s sinning to not be vegan. In this case I think it is pretty obvious and once you know it, you should also repent. 🙏

Thanks for this video. Interesting point of view. I am christian, but not a vegan (yet). I wonder about why God gave us animals to eat after the first sin, if being vegan is the ideal. Also i struggle with the rituals in the old testament, where they used animals to offer to God to pay for their sins. Why would God have chosen it that way, if its better for us to be vegans. Any thoughts on this?

I just have one question. Why would God allow the consumption of meat if he intented for us to be Vegans? If he creates man as an herbivore why let him eat meat? That does not make any sense. And also it also seems that God condones the drinking of cows milk. Verses like "land of milk and honey" indicate towards milk being good but heavy research has shown that drinking milk is unhealthy. God is the greatest scientist then why would he allow for us to eat Foods that we are not built for?

I've put on weight being vegan 6 years im 50 depressed mental health issues dad bod.

I was Vegan and it actually took the Bible to give me permission to eat meat and this is when I was healed. I see too many sick Vegan Christians and their dogmatic approach to diet keeps them sick. I personally don't even crave meat. I would eat Vegan if my body and health could do so, but at 52 years old, I personally cannot. I praise God that he allowed me to eat Beef and Lamb and be healed.
