Learning fast channel has the Panasonic battery at 461kw at 100% at the supercharger. I have had my LG car at 414.9kw using the sexy buttons at 100% at the super charger. Thats a 46.1kw difference! Now that is the maximum the battery can output and not what is going to the motors. Obviously there will be certain things in the car that will draw that power, as well as, I would think, potential drive train losses. Maybe the sexy buttons will tell me at the drag strip on Sunday but I estimate I'll see a power draw to the motors around the 380kw mark. I think the only way we will get to a 10s LG battery car is by losing a significant amount of weight. Passenger and rear seats out, fruit or frunk out and in my case, lose 40kg of weight! 😂 Looking at some times on dragy, it seems that there could be 2 to 3 tenths in it by taking all that out. Another thing that is always in the back of my mind is we are comparing times in the US and they are in summer. We are in winter, the air is colder and therefore more dense. This has an effect on drag most definately and this could also help us with a tenth or 2, maybe.

I would have to agree. Haven't driven a "true" EV, but the hybrid I have does give an instant response that I never felt in the Subaru's and Alfa's I have had in the the oast!

Thats a healthy number considering i believe y62s stock on 35s makes 160kw and 360nm at the wheels and they go well so this thing would love it. I could be wrong but id say the gq is lighter than a y62 aslo.

Your 100% correct, I use to have a used Porsche dealership in the 2000s, use to buy and sell them, they are crap to drive, they were crap to drive even back then. The water cooled cars are night and day, and in my opinion the best all round sports cars (especially 997/991) But we still sold them very well because they were always cool, but most customers that bought them would end up asking us to list them for sale few months later. But every car guy should experience them at least once.

I have a 1984 G body air cooled 911 and a 2001 Carrera 4 911 and they are both awesome. To get the top performance you have to drive to the edge and you need skills and a set mate. I like that a lot. Bullet proof tough little bulldogs. Could not disagree with your assessment more.

The future of Clean Hydrogen powered vehicles will be a thing.. Elon is even thinking about it. Because renewable hydrogen is cleaner than local coal markets that are used for charging. With Space X having thoughts of being the biggest hydrogen producer in the world, it is poised to release a hydrogen economy to the US.. The supercharger infrastructure network is too costly. Elon has fired most or all of his Supercharger staff. He will soon be creating the largest renewable hydrogen company in the US, that will be creating liquid hydrogen for Space X rockets... with a side benefit of selling said hydrogen to the consumer to pay for it all. In advance of that, Tesla will be building an EV that will run on Hydrogen.

What BS! How far can you drive with an EV? Hydrogen is a product which occurs naturally and for example Gold Hydrogen in South Australia has a huge deposit of natural hydrogen. The technology for vehicles is similar to ICE engines and does not rely on complicated fuel cell technology.

Energy intensive is not an issue as long as the peak energy from renewables are dumped right now just not to crash the energy market or overload the grid so using it for H2 makes sense, also in the EU natural gas infrastructure is already in place and they are doing experiments at the moment in sending through the existing pipelines a combination of natural gas and h2, and as time passes that h2 percentage will increase more and more, and 3 for long distance hauling like trucks and tractors h2 is way more efficient and better than pure electric, h2 will mostly be used for heavy industries and long ranges while pure electric is ideal for urban/short range commuting . You have no idea what you are talking about, sorry to burst your balloon.
