Hello. Bobbie Taylor, CASA volunteer from my Richmond, Kentucky
Great webinar for my morning walk with my dog during this busy holiday season. Love the idea of putting my phone away, using my alarm clock, and eating chicken adobo :)
Thank you all for the great webinar.
what is the crisis center link?
Really thought-provoking podcast! It raises such an important point about the overwhelming access to global crises today and barriers to individual self-care. The sheer scale of worldwide catastrophes and rate of inflation can definitely create a sense of helplessness-like no single action will ever be enough. Slowing down and meeting personal and community needs can create a stronger sense of agency and connection because we can see/feel the immediate impact of our efforts. @PalesaA.Osei-TutuLCSW Thank You for participating on this forum and sharing with me.
Thank you so much for the opportunity to speak on this panel - I had so much fun!
I think the term "Hoarding" is detrimental to people with this issue. It may be that some people that suffer from cluttered, unsanitary living spaces do actually hoard but in my experience it rarely is due solely to having too many possessions. There's a causation present before the possessions. My mother for instance, and I fear I as well, would be messy and unsanitary even if we lived in a tent or teepee with nothing but neccesary objects.
Thanks a lot! For firts time I fund something really useful... sorry for my bad english. I´m wrinting from the Plains of the Orinoco River in Colombia. Far far from cities or town. We don´t have any support , only our brains, arms, hands and enthusiasm. One of our priorities is PAYSAN MENTAL HEALTH! Off course rural violence born or is consequenece of "bad" mental Health . Hello from near Chicago
Very helpful! Thank you!
Iam from India mem,iam suffering from anxiety Depression last 10 year, but I have no any financial support.
This: "Having a healthy relationship with yourself, your worth, your time, your money...if I put my time and attention towards something that earns money, I'm very litigious about my time...I don't waste my time, and I don't waste my money because I feel it's a direct reflection of how I feel about myself...." Thank you for this webinar.
Jackie thank you for the webinars and exceptional panelists. The information about the Youth Mental Health Corps is awesome. I live in California and see the program will launch in California in 2025. The recordings of webinars I register but miss due to scheduling conflicts are priceless.
Thank you so much, Ladies!! This is very informative and helpful to me in addressing my recently developed hoarding disorder, especially during COVID19. Sheltering In changed my interactions with inanimate objects (mainly restoring dolls) from a home full of my Son & his friends. Also lost the Family Dog when our Son had to live with his Dad because disregarded all of the precautions, etc. and insisted he & our Son proceed as if they only might catch the flu for a little while, but then return to normal routines. So I became completely isolated, doing activities through Zoom only. FEAR was daily prevalent in my mind, so I reached constantly for distractions to ease my intensified anxiety and at times, depression. First thing that changed when Pandemic ended was going out and getting a little part-time job in a showroom. The job mushroomed with success and learning new skills into full time work, so my home kind of became a “dumping ground.” Just rested and ate when I got home. Did so for 2 years, then job ended. Now home for 5 months and addressing areas a section at a time. First did 2 full size bathrooms, one the toilet didn’t work for a year. Now both are like entering a hotel bathroom. Next did Kitchen l-shaped countertops and cleaned out all expired food from cabinets. Donated some cookbooks, but find I still truly ENJOY my cookbooks & have cupboard space so keep more than I use at age 71. Do still love to cook for Family & Friends. Next cleaned out my hallway and area behind my sofa. SO NICE to enjoy a clear, clean walkway! Much easier to clean and maintain everything when spaces are clear! Then cleaned out my Laundry Room and very large exterior deck (2 of 3 sections are completed). Got the app TODY to assist me to keep areas maintained properly. Have done 2 of 4 sections of my Living Room and Dining Room. Hopefully, will complete these before Thanksgiving Holiday so I can invite company to my home! 😅❤
In there pass it was also not spoken about. Yep so true 😢
That was not spoken about in the family when K thru 12. Speak up and speak up. The correct way.

I'm convinced that Peer support is the solution to the social exclusion problem. However the issue is finding online access to Peer support systems for both people who need it, and others who want to get training so they can help. Well anyway keep up the good work.
