Bill Medley Peace Brother Peace Righteous Brother(s) 1968

I posted this video before but accidentally deleted it so thought I would post it again. It's a pretty nice (and rare) promo from 1968 and if you listen to the words, they ring true today as much as it did back then. Peace to all. Any and all comments about the watermarks will be deleted. Just enjoy the clip for what it is.
Dwight Twilley Band with Tom Petty - Chance To Get Away

Recently, we lost the great Dwight Twilley in a tragic death. In this 1977 video, we see four beloved musicians, now gone. Bill Pitcock IV, Phil Seymour, Tom Petty and Dwight Twilley. R.I.P. gentlemen. As usual, any and all comments about the watermarks will be deleted. Just enjoy the clip for what it is.

Lulu Me, The Peaceful Heart

No idea where this is from but all I know is it's from 1968. Was it from her TV show? Maybe....it's too long ago for me to remember. Any and all comments about the watermarks will be deleted. Just enjoy the clip for what it is.
Everly Brothers Claudette

Possibly the only vintage clip of the Everly lads doing this song in 1958. Written by Roy Orbison, this was the B-side to "All I Have To Do Is Dream" in the U.S. It got to #30 in the U.S. charts and #1 in the U.K. charts. Any and all comments about the watermarks will be deleted. Just enjoy the clip for what it is.
Connie Francis - Shower Of Stars U.K. TV show

Here's one for all you Connie Francis fans! Connie's complete 1958 appearance as she sings "Stupid Cupid, Carolina Moon, Alexander's Ragtime Band (with Lonnie Donegan) and My Mammy". I don't have an exact airdate of this so if anybody has that information, please post it in the comments. Thank you. Any and all comments about the watermarks will be deleted. Just enjoy the clip for what it is.

Rare color clip from an old TV show in 1960. My mind isn't what it used to be so can't remember what show it was. Any and all comments about the watermarks will be deleted. Please enjoy the clip for what it is.

I cried.

I was confused when I saw Bill's guitar. I didn't know that Gibson ES-330 12-string exists!
Great song 1:02
I am proud to be a distant cousin of Connie! 😊❤️
Fabulous . Dean Martin was the greatest entertainer, so loved❤️
Love Dean Martin
As a kid of the 60’s … every time I hear this song I start to cry. Why ? My mother was a HUGE Connie Francis fan. My father took all of the her sing at Palisades Park. Also, my wife and saw Neil Sedaka sing Where the Boys Are in Las Vegas on our Wedding Day. As writer of the song music for the movie … he had some great story about his best friend … Connie Francis. Thx for posting this video.
I’m the guys really playing the bass on this song. Still kicking and missing these guys though it was a mess trying to play in this band and keeping your mind
I really like these guys! I am not sure what show they were on, but the back up music really sucked! Thanks for posting!!!
Where was this performance?
wondering why the stormy weather always finds me the peaceful heart
Is this the same guy who had the song, "I'm on Fire." He's kinda wussy here!!! 😢
Hey now.
A complete singer she can sing any song beautifully.
I love this song
Good vocal. I do think the drums get in the way a bit, though.
A really nice song. Power pop at it's best. Catchy and enjoyable. Rest in peace guys.
Wonderful
many thanks
Seems original version of german,Sexy Hexy'.
The first song.
Thank you for sharing this, I love them!!!!
Never saw this before. Nice performance. I like their arrangement.
Me either.
I like this version better than the one she released. She is so versatile that she seldom sings a song the same way twice!
Crap band sound in the background
Every now and then I would search online for this hoping. I thought I'd never see this again. Thank you so much!
Thank you! Remember KGSC ( before it became KICU) San Jose station. This was the sign off song. I also remember Carol Doda! "The perfect 36 in San Jose". 😊
Обалденно, гениально, красиво поёт, полный отвал башки, 🔥огонь🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
WONDERFUL!! Thank you for Chering. Do you have more Cher video's?
I was surprised when I heard it. I was not a big fan of it. The album is very different from what she did in the past also. But there are some good songs on it.
According to the now-defunct UHF Television website, KPAZ in Phoenix, AZ played this song at sign off in 1969.
There was another version before this version showing boxers fighting and cannot find it. any ideas
They used to run this on Channel 36 in San Jose very late at night at the end of each broadcast day. Early-mid 1970s. Never thought I’d see this again. Thanks for posting!
I remember. They played it in the morning.
Is this the video that played as a signoff on several TV stations? And, do you mind if I repost this on my new channel? [www.youtube.com/@LaurelT1948] I would post your video as is (if I can figure out how to do it; if not, I won't post it) and give you credit. I have a couple of Bill Medley rarities --such as Hey Jude in 1970, and a song he recorded with the drummer of Smashing Pumpkins, and some more to come. Let me know. I loved this! Such a great performance by Bill, too.
Sorry I didn't get back sooner. I haven't checked but if you'd like to share, please do!!
@@EdgarTurpin Thank you so much! I appreciate it. We still need the message of this song!
Is the sound not original from tape but added from Julie At Home album?
Do you have her TV specials from 60s? Not the Japanese 1964 one, but others filmed in US, there are 2 such at least
Wow! This clip is v sentimentality. Dean Martin and Greg Garrison.. Simply beautiful. ❤ Thank you for the post. I'm appreciated.
It's the year 2024 and the everly bros are still the best the most unique voices I've ever heard , simply the best, better than all the rest....
It always kind of surprises me to encounter how many American singers were significantly popular in other countries, even singing in other languages, as Connie also did. Of course in Britain that wasn't necessary, but obviously she was well known there in 1958.
ESTÚPENDA GRAN TALENTO MI IDOLA DE SIEMPRE CONNÍE FRANCIS
❤️❤️❤️🌹. Thank God this was saved. We shall never see this time ever again.
RIP DWIGHT
Thank you for this lovely lady with a most beautiful voice.
A joyous song.
1927 song from the musical SHOW BOAT written by Oscar Hammerstein II, Jerome Kern...Its on Cher's 2nd album,"THE SONNY SIDE of CHER"
Power Poptastic
She was a wonderful singer.Such a clear and melodious voice. Her father was so strict,I suprised he allowed to go into showbusiness.
What do mean? It was her Dad who managed her career. He made a fortune off her.
❤super
I have NEVER seen a video of her singing this song, surprising as it was a Top 10 hit in 1968. It's a goodie, as are other rarely seen performances of hits like 'Leave a Little Love' and 'Try To Understand' (I've never seen a performance of that one on video). It is more than likely from one of her TV shows but that's just a supposition. Many thanks for posting!
