I want to look like him. I want to look like HIM.
Rachel Harlow ate all them up with features and winning in life. she is still alive and had a great life in stealth
Why, it's the voice of the Indian Chief from Peter Pan, one of Maleficient's goons from Sleeping Beauty, the Captain Crocodile from Robin Hood and Fidget from The Great Mouse Detective !
Impressive!
Why would Home Depot give a damn?
Song 🎶 is also an apt description of current Florida governor Ron DeSantis!
❤🎉🎉ty 🔙 YALL 🙏🙏 CL
What an incredible voice range high to real low
anyone put their volume on max trying to hear the sound of a silent film?
best song ever
Attention, everyone!
Happy Christmas Eve!
He sounds Vietnamese in the lady voice that says "One meatball"
I can imagine Johnny Depp trying to sound like Candy’s deep voice.
I've actually seen him perform a few times, 60 some years ago, at Crescent Bay Council Scout Exposition, at Corsair Field, Santa Monica Community College, Santa Monica, CA.
My dad used to sing this when I was a very small child, and I never thought to search for it until today. Amazing performance, and it only took me 60 years to find it.
Before today the only thing I knew about Candido was that in 1960, Bud Abbott tried to make a comeback by teaming up with Candido in place of Lou Costello who had died the previous year (Bud and Lou had already split before Lou's death.) It didn't work out, but after seeing this video, I can see why Abbott thought it might.
Tremendous vocal range from Candy Candido in an entertaining bit . He also voiced many cartoons and was the voice of the angry apple tree in The Wizard of Oz .
he's doin a good durante impression! loved massacre mafia style
Dedicated to Ron DeSantis (currently governor of Florida).
I've seen this song twice at the Alamo Drafthouse recently - once for Spider-verse and once for No Hard Feelings. They always put on the best stuff before their movies.
That's awesome!
Was this guy related to YmaSumac?
I remember seeing this in the 1950s on TV when I was a kid. I never forgot it. It is a classic. Candino was a great vocalist.
Candy Candido’s vocal range was just unbelievable the fact that he could a high pitch voice one moment and switch to a very low Beltone in a second that’s impressive
Wow....what an interesting rendition!! Never heard this one. My familiarity with it was from my parents frienship with Josh White. I grew up with Mr. White's music, being played on our console in the living room. Once, when attending one of his concerts in Santa Monica, we we're seated front row. And since I knew "One Meatball" by heart, when Mr. White started to sing it, I stood up and joined in....to which he said..."SING IT BOY". I was maybe 4 or 5 at the time...and was seated next to Carolyn Jones, of Adams Family fame. Great & wonderful memories 😎.
I think Candy Candido would have been a really amazing voice for Eeyore since he has the perfect voice for Eeyore although Ralph Wright was really superb!!😊
This makes my bub bubs bounce
0:26 There's my Chippy.
Talent pure talent
his mob movies are legend, lol.
Oh no she didnt !
One meat ball!
You're both wrong. Anyone who thinks FRESH LOBSTER was shot in 1928 has no idea what Billy Bletcher looked like then. This was actually shot in the mid-30's and was not released until 1948. The one car you see in the film is an early 30's sedan. RICHARD M ROBERTS
Is this supposed to be funny or something? Jeez, if one thing has improved since the 1950’s, it’s televised comedy. I will admit, this guy’s voice has some versatility, but I don’t think it’s enough to redeem this performance.
This was hilarious and is more hilarious than most bs on tv
Absurd tragedy/melancholy (lugubriousness) is a tenant of comedy - Eeyore from Winnie The Pooh, or the Gloom, Despair, and Agony song from Hee Haw. The original version of this tune, "Lone Fish Ball," was written in 1855 by a Harvard professor who was once short on cash but faced no real threat of hunger.
Harlow was a TRUE lady about it.
lol Harlow was shaking in her boots! What could she do? The anger wasn’t even directed at her
@@mamat1213 Over aggressive is a sign of high testosterone. ew in a lady.
She was beautiful but she wasn't looking beautiful TONIGHT!
Candy candido 1913-1999
😆😆😆😆= 🧆 🧆 🧆 🧆 Rip Candido 😔
The lost art (outside of voice acting and/or Broadway shows) of actually having pure talent.
What the hell is wrong with you, UA-cam? I sought out this video two months ago. I played it six times. I loved it. I gave it a "like". And you cannot STOP suggesting as a video to see. ENOUGH!
Just block it? Geez

My dude candy has Mike Patton vocal range
Sorry, but Crystal was the true star of this film
0:26 I swear he says "Juanito" 😅 It took me a lot to understand what was he saying xD
It would like be the title of the song (as a parody) today!
I'd never heard his name before today, but Candy Candido must have the widest vocal range of any vocalist I've listened to. I recognized the low voice from some of his voice work in Disney movies (though I had to look him up to verify which ones), but my GOODNESS how can those highest high notes and lowest low notes come from the same singer?
Duke Mitchell was extremely underrated! God bless him for talent that he gave everyone 🙏
0:35 International Chrysis - pure legend
By the time the Biden administration is through with this will be a standard item on every menu.
Just. Wow.
One MEET-balllll
4 octave vocal range RIP Candy C. as of 1999
Yma Sumac had at least 4 octaves in her voice too.
At the rate things are going in Biden's America, one meatball will cost you $15, not 15c. And you'll get no bread with it.
