Difficulty wise, they should be exacltly the same. Sometimes in 'No Greater Honor' you have to kill 5 Imps less (it depends on the patch). But generally they are the same. Lore wise, it depends. It changes the outcome of the 1st part of Breaker of Chains, but we're talking about 2 lines in a dialogue. As you can see on the minimap at 2:44 the quest starts at Ooldool Strait. You can find this place on the map thanks to the indicators of Solbaram Manor (the green house symbol) and the Swirling Sea leading to the Sea Palace. Both these symbols are located east of Nampo. I played only the tutorial. The graphic is good, the animations too. But the combat system seems even more clunky than AION and BnS. Also, the starting zone seemed the fusion between Kamasylve tree from bdo and Verteron portal from AION. Another thing that pissed me is the absence of channels. They added them on BnS and BDO has them as well and is such a good feature for me mainly when there a ton of people. And don't get me started on the spirit that seems the family friendly version of the black spirit. I'd like to see the story because I loved AION and BnS stories, but only when things calm down a bit. - Lema

I think the issue rn is that the story has been put aside for so long that even now many players give for granted it's not worth attention. Luckily, now PA seems to be willing to put in the effort. So, fingers crossed!

Emma always had nighmares. After we visit, she's a lil bit better, but every now and then the nightmare returns, since the root of the problem is most likely Hadum itself.

The crossroads in bdo affect the whole questline, but the changes are so minimal that it doesn't change much. Also, the choices of one Main Quest usually don't affect the others. For example, the choices you make in Balenos are not going to affect Serendia. Specifically, the choice in this video only affects what happens to Tiny Nose before visiting Velia.

@@lovelyggs when i did Grisha at first i chose to help them at the 2 crossroads, at the entrance of Serendia, we meet Grisha in human habits again, and it was all good ending (he said Emma still got nightmares tho) Later i created another account, this time i helped them at first crossroad and chose to take their horns for the Eileen thing (he was pissed as fucc for that), but now at the Entrnace of Serendia, he wasn't there, there was hans who told us Grisha left, and they showed a cutscene like some cliffhanger about their boss coming back...

I can't find any quest called "Haven of Criminals". AFAIK the only requirements for the questline in the video is to be lvl 55+ and completing the Oberin's Tragedy questline.

This is exactly what Swittzy said for long time. I (Lema) used to be a PvP player in AION. I started playing BDO at the release. After dealing with desync for some time, I just gave up on PvP and I retired a Life Skill player. I guess these types of arena aim to make the people spending money on the game for gear feel good. Like you can play the game as a normal person as long as you accept to boost the ego of those with gear. In fact, "the next season" of Arena of Solare - where you can pick a gear among given options, but ultimately the same for everyone - never came.

@@lovelyggs BDO has always had the "P2W" stigma attached to it. I was hoping with this new updates of "Pity" system they would really go all out and do some real changes that will actually help people who is not born with a golden spoon. Even with this new system we are talking about tens of thousands of Cron Stones. Who can grind that out except for people whom either are not working while streaming it for work or those with "Trump" money. I honestly think that BDO would surpass any MMO in the history of MMO's if they would get rid of redundant systems like Cron Stones only being able to be purchased. You can still have the Wealthy buy Cron Stones directly from the store and still allow poor players to grind it out in the game world like Caphras Stones. BDO Devs have a very limited view of how Players would act. They think without Cron Stones they would lose money but in reality even poor people would save up to buy it at the Cash Shop once in a while. They also would increase the number of players. Making money off of 1000 people is better than making it of of 10 players for businesses. Return customers by nature would increase as those same people would swipe again. Their business management team needs to go back to school.

​@@deusanti the real issue of BDO is that it's "always Korea 1st". The game is for Korea in the first place, and then the others can play it if they really want to. In Korea it's normalised the routine "wake up, go to work, play bdo, go to sleep". So, many people - who are not per se rich - just spend any money left from their wage on BDO, but also grind whenever they have free time. In EU and NA this is not common, so the only people that actually shop are those who can afford to waste money on BDO constantly. Also BDO is not a game for "poor" people or casual gamers/people. Cos the graphic is insane and you need a gaming PC above the average to play. It's not WoW where you can play the game with a toaster and gg. And this even got worse with the new anticheat since it overheats CPUs and GPUs. To put it in perspective, Swittzy and I have professional PCs since we both work in tech and we spent years building our PCs. And even with our PCs we have issues due to 1) the awful optimisation and 2) the new anticheat.

@@lovelyggs No MMO is for the Poor really, just that some games are more easier for Poor people to compete. I hear that BDO is for the Wealthy as an excuse for their convoluted systems but to me that is just a detriment to their Game Earning potential. You can turn down graphics with a push of button, but you can't spend $30 for an outfit without actually earning it in real life. I also think they have a pulse on the Korean Economy right now. Average Korean is in debt around $70k right now. I think a Billion Dollar Corporation is aware that it will come tumbling down eventually. They need the international Market. That is why they are slowly starting to introduce more "Pity" systems. I just think they are missing an opportunity to grow their game more. This is just my opinion. We all know our opinions don't matter to BDO. Plebians should just shut up and appreciate what they give is their moto.

@@deusanti I really hope they'll start to think more about the casual players and not the credit cards warriors. However, it's also true that MMO is a dying genre. Rn you have mobile games - and generally other genres - making more money. And, considering how it's going, I really think that PA is aiming to make as much money as possible more than to last longer as an MMO company.

You can complete the quest on the character you want. The hammer is not character bound, you can even sell it :)

@@ALAS.22 This is the 3rd part of Mediah MQ. You have to complete the MQ until Mediah (AKA you have to finish Balenos, Serendia and Calpheon). After you finish the 1st part (ua-cam.com/video/jz0_SwovkdQ/v-deo.html), you need to pick a crossroad. Once you finished the crossroad you picked, you'll be able to start this questline.

"The Temple in the East", 1st quest of of Media MQ becomes available once you finish Calpheon MQ. This quest is not available if you picked the simplified path back in Velia.

@@kotosik12345 If you made a seasonal character, once you pick the *simplified* Main Quest at the beginning of the story (AKA when you arrive in Velia and talk to Alustin, or when you finish Balenos and talk to Kirk) you will skip Serendia, Calpheon, and Mediah MQs.

@@kotosik12345 You have to start a new character (season or normal) and this time you have to do the quest. HOWEVER, as far as I know, you don't have to. You just need to keep leveling up and complete "[Special Growth] Fughar's Memorandum - Chapter 7". The [Special Growth] questline starts via the Black Spirit with [Special Growth] Birth of a Prestigious Family. Check out your Black Spirti before starting a new character :)
