Came here for an up to date colony guide. Left having enjoyed some anachronistic memes and good editing. Entertaining though, albeit not particularly informative.

The odyssey is my favourite ship. It can get up to destroyer speed before 0-flux boost, and that's without modding it. Anything smaller than it does, and anything bigger than it can't keep up.

You ever take a hard math class? I recall doing third demntional '3d' problems and taking the equation '4d' for a moment to simplify it and eventually you convert your final answer to '3d'. Ghost ships you pick up are definitely 'real'. Why they bother going '3d' at all to travel through the core worlds is beyond me

some modders in this community are some real twats. why care? why bother? if someone decides to put your mod next to a mod you dont like its not your business, its theirs, you are free to talk shit, but breaking saves is straight up dirty and messed up, just auto disable your mod, dont destroy someone's save! imagine dedicating hours to a save you like, just to install a mod and that mod decides to yeet your whole save, not cool, not cool. you are not the one to decide who or why to punish, if something crosses a line moderators will take charge of deleting it and users should be the ones to decide not to use it.

crash code? nah nah, i add compatibility to something specifically so i can mess with people and make jokes/special interactions. Good luck finding the one mod with the one specific gun that the description of a ship says will oneshot it. :)

NovaX "defence" system is the most busted weapon of this mod. It's even more powerfull and effective than plazma storm for some reason. There is a great ship in this mod - Titanium, last bounty. You can't use it until you change some tags in ship_data.csv. And yeah, you'll need to fix a name of a portrait file in unique_bounty_data.csv or your game will crash at the start of a fight.

While yes this mod's weapon is busted af especially the rarest one, the OP and the flux cost really hinder some of the build. And sometimes you can only put like one (or maybe two if its capital) on ship. But the fun factor kinda outweigh that, so yeah, fun mod!

It's such a fun mod, in the sense that what you get is basically random and rarely absolutly OP, just a nice thing once in a while with limited usefullness. god I hate modders that get their panties in a twist because someone reused an asset. as if they didn't literally mod a game reusing assets from that game, kitbashing it etc.
