Bilstein replacements wouldn't slot in unless i unbolted the lower control arm because they were so thick
@@Adrianzx thanks for that info.
Have you upgraded the charging coils yet? To produce more amperage?
@@timhoward7597 I have not. We swapped to a 224 and used a DeWalt battery to run the lights.
I was the organizer and host of this event back in 2019. It was wonderful to see the great turnout of avid Sol'ers meeting up in Myrtle Beach! Unfortunately, that was the last time we held the delsoltrain - as covid halted any plans in 2020. I want to thank the person responsible for shooting/editing/preserving this video - complete with all the still photos too. Great job. BTW, my white del Sol is the one with the AHHSOL license plate. Plus, i also own the red del Sol with a meager 4k original miles.
@@billcatcher2701 I wish I could have stayed longer to this meet. I ended up having a huge kidney stone and had to drive all the way back to Summerville to go to my Dr. It totally sucked. But maybe we can all get together again.
Brooooooo
@@moes920 yea lol
Nice job!
Disconnect the battery first to avoid possibly erupting the airbag upon connector tamper... people.
Love the store...super excited for 2025!
best video so far without having to use a 12v battery
Do u think running thinner oil or unchanged oil would be better in extreme low temperatures to help it start and warm up better? By the way why are you cutting apart a nice headlight option for visually only? But I get your idea
Put a smaller rear sprocket on it you'll like it
@@kevinweber8859 no idea about the oil question. I live in the south so I don't worry about extreme cold. As for the headlights I believe the light bar is far superior in both looks and appearance lol. And I do have a 40 tooth now on it. I believe I made a video about it if you check my channel. If not I guess I forgot to film that one lol
Glad it's at the new place
Yay!! Glad she's home!!
This worked very well, I was stressed out the first time because it didn’t work but I took a closer look and realized the cores the wires weren’t touching 😂. Definitely worth the 50 bucks and is a big upgrade from the weak Coleman light 👍
@@Zakistheman glad I could help.
Now we need the front ones!
@@DelSolBaby I have JDM fronts. I don't wanna mess those up hahahha
@Sucat ooh fancy, mine are glued with gorilla glue and can't find the seamless fully clear ones tho 😓
@@DelSolBabyoh. I had a pair back in the day from eBay.
Also is it 7inches because it says 13.7 on autozone
@@anthonymartinez4015 yes. It is a 7inch. I noticed my local AZ was out of stock the other day so they may be getting rid of them but any 12v 7inch light bar should work. Try Amazon or other local part stores. Even Walmart.
How did you take off the plastic in the front ?
Not sure what plastic youre talking about. The fender was just a few bolts. I think I ended up breaking the headlight off trying to take it off.
Thanks for the video.
Nice, thanks for the video, I’ll hit up the Autozone and get one.
Are those lights still working since you did that mod? That's a lot of money if they burn out in a month or two. I never seen a follow-up video.
Yes they are still working great.
you do not have to unplug those 3 on the computer module. Just drop the the entire computer after taking screw out of the module and tie it off out of your way with plastic ties.
Huge props bro thank you. My headlight had gone out on my bt200 and wasn't sure what I was going to do I was leaning towards just putting an LED and replacing it with an LED but then realized how much of a hassle it is. Came across your video and 30 minutes later boom I got a great light for the front. Thanks bro!!
Appreciate that bro glad I could help.
This video help alot God bless ✝✝
🔥🔥
Where do you put the hanging paint on the hoist thanks.
For a big guy you managed that well. I can barely put the filter in.
@@NeutronX101 hahah appreciate that. I tend to get my self in tight places. Sometimes even stuck hahahah
@@Sucat Mine just went out and I am dreading to do it plus it's over 100 outside
@@NeutronX101 ugh I feel ya. Good luck buddy. Any other questions feel free to ask
@@SucatI did it today, took me like 6 hours and a lot of cursing and yelling. I had to remove the front seat though. Everything reconnected except the hood latch. Have to figure out how to do it. Also did the accelerator pedal relearn worked for you? Doesn’t seem to be working for me. Plus left the black box in because the cables didnt want to unhook.
@@NeutronX101 I don't even remember doing a relearn for the pedal. The black box was a pain for me too. Glad you got it done though. Glad I could help someone save money instead of 900 at the stealership hahaha
I just bought this mini bike from Tractor Supply and the headlamp is awful. It produces about as much light as a candle. I thought I got a defective light, but apparently that's how they're making them... I might do this upgrade soon, but for now I'm just using bicycle headlight/ tail light
@@seriousdopamine4404 probably the same bike I have. Light sucks. Hope this vid helps in the future when you decide to upgrade.
Does anyone know what sz the Original light bulb is
S1 12V25W. BA20d
The torque converter and the 40 tooth will keep RPM quite low. No need for a billet flywheel. I guess it's good to have if you plan on a major gearing change later. That's usually done with a Juggernaut or Tork-Zilla driver.
Nicely done.
Someone get this man some insulation and a Mr Cool for his garage!
Nice.
Rather ask a stupid question than be dumb for not asking so... Does all this just come out when working with a strut assembly as the replacement?
For quick struts or coilovers yea it all comes together new so it's like 4 or 5 bolts total no need to compress the spring and take the top hat off. Just unbolt old and bolt in new
@@Sucat nice that's what I was thinking but better safe than sorry appreciate you
How’d you wire the switch in?P
Probably splice it into the original headlamp toggle
How’d you wire the switch in?
It’s a factory switch on the handle bar
Hey bro what size is the bearing 32mm ?
Did you have to buy any additional parts when upgrading to the predator?
No I did not. Bolted right in
@@Sucat awesome thanks! My son blew his motor so it looks like I’ll be doing this shortly. There’s not a lot of info on swapping the b200r specifically
Yea man. Thinking about it though. I did have to use different bolts because the thread pitch wasn't correct. I am not sure the thread pitch but the owners manual tells you. But all the major parts swap over. I went to Lowe's to get the bolts. Hope this helps.
How did you mount the chain tensioner? I can’t figure it out….. sorry for all the q’s but appreciate the info!
@@Hand_Banana I used the old jack shaft assembly. The black metal plate thingy hahahaha.
hey man! thanks for putting this video out. but i was wondering do u have a link to that light u are using?
www.autozone.com/featured-interior/under-100/p/blazer-international-led-off-road-light-bar/544345_0_0
@Sucat thank you so much man for the timely response!
How long have you had this light bar on? I was told without the 12v it will stop working after a while the light bar.
Been about 4 months now. No issues. But I did eventually switch to a 12 converter for DeWalt. That's been about a month or so now
I went and got the same light bar and i love it. The 7 inch one from autozone. Awesome man thanks cool video. I also did the red tail too. I just grabbed a random one from the shelf.
Thanks this helped
I'm having an issue with an engine swap after the previous one had a damaged piston. i have the velaster turbo 2016 dual clutch version, The problem I'm encountering is that the engine isn't performing as expected. While it sounds normal and accelerates smoothly at low speeds, when I try to accelerate harder, it feels like it's not delivering power properly. The RPMs drop, almost as if the computer is limiting it. It's frustrating because when I reach 50 MPH, it doesn't accelerate as it should. Can someone tell me what could be happening?
I can’t seem to get my head light to turn on? It was a return and had all the wires moved around 😢
Not really sure bro. Could have been a bad light from the get go. Try to return it and get a brand new one
Could you possibly do a seat/spring mod? I got a b200r recently and the ride is not pleasant. No seat springs and the seat itself is very stiff.
I'll look Into it. I def agree the seat isn't pleasant.
@@Sucat sorry, forgot to mention, that light upgrade. fantastic. nice diy. i wonder if there is a 12v battery small enough to attach to this bike, and have 'steadier' lights. that would be a good vid/dyi for some folks
Super helpful. I'm definitely gonna watch again as I actually go through the process. Thanks for the video.
Appreciate the love bro. Glad I can help
Love the #minibike videos!
Hey, can u make a video on how to remove the governor from a b200r?
Soooo I was in the middle of doing that when I dropped the engine and everything fell out of it. I was gonna try to work on it again next weekend. If I get around to it I will def make a video about it
@@Sucat Thanks
I can't believe how clean and simple it actually is. Cheers
they are so much fun. Nice lights!
Ty ty
Those slide carbs will fit on any small block, which includes the 196's on all Coleman 200 models. No slide carb uses the governor. You may have got a defective intake. Maybe things have changed. On one of my bikes the stock Coleman clutch lasted 6 years before I removed it and put a torque converter on it. I don't ride a lot but still never had a problem with it. About to put one of those carbs on a stock 196. I'll hold the governor arm toward the head with a spring. Will work fine with a torque converter but isn't a good idea with a jackshaft because the RPM would run right into valve float. Too bad you didn't get a 224 or any other small block. All the parts for your headlight would have fit them. The 196 flywheel is not a correct fit for the Predator 212.
Appreciate the info bro. All this is new to me hahah.
@@Sucat No problem. I think it's good to pass along info and hope that it helps. I see it as part of the hobby.
Would this work for the b200c??
Did it change me with a light from the factory. If so should work the same.
As long as it has the stock flywheel and stuff.
@@Sucat the whole bike is stock but flywheel? Sorry my first bike haha
So aftermarket "performance" flywheels do not usually have the magnetic pick ups to create an electric current to illuminate the light. If your bike is stock and your current light works then this upgrade will work for you too. Since I swapped to the 212 predator engine I no longer have working lights and have to buy a battery pack converter (new video this weekend )
@@Sucat oh okay I got my bike yesterday the light worked for about 2 min then stopped working completely???? Would it work if I swapped it??
ramshambo! Enjoying the build videos for the algorithm!
Online advice, the music is a bit much and you seem fine talking to the camera. Cheers.
Appreciate the advice. Always room for improvement. I felt I rambled a lot so some.background music was good but def will work on it thanks.
