2024 and still works. If u want play with friends u can take the free clound of Oracle and create a dedicate server.

I set up my server through steam as well, but I play satisfactory through epic...I can't join my game because of the eos. Any suggestions?

Im guessing you need to Update this, you started out slow and easy to follow, then Started speeding around, like from config to Windows server ... I have no windows Server, ? *also you said Past the Default Server config into that Server config, Im guessing adding to it at bottom, not OVER the existing in the file? then you mentioned Admin PW then didnt do anything buy jump strait to ENGINE, but i dont have a windows Server folder, so no egine file like that?

I want to add blueprints.. from what I read, I have to add them to the server side to get them to work. I can not seem to find the folder others have described. "Blueprints" even though I have created a blueprint in the game. Sinle player, no problem, server problem.

Everything worked until the end for me, but I cant Connect to the Server ingame :( It says "This server appears to be offline" Any Input for this one maybe? Is it something with the firewall maybe? I have set this one and checked with ufw status. I am using an ubuntu 20.04 aarch64 used box so i can run the steamcmd 32x

FYI, if you installed the server using a new user (like in the Satisfactory server video) you need to add "User=satisfactory" (or whatever username) before the Exec line. Wouldn't start for me otherwise, worked like a charm after that fix.

Can you do the same steps when there is a game update? I am currently getting a mismatch error because the game version is newer than my server version.

Man, wish I saw this when getting a Minecraft server running ages ago. Tried nearly everything to get the thing to relaunch on startup, but I always had to do it manually. Never knew you could make it a service. Thanks! Now to get a Satisfactory server up and running...

Hey, I'm having issues with people outside my LAN connecting to the server. I have set up port forwarding on my router for all the required ports but the server isn't (A): Showing up in the server list. (B): My friends are not able to connect to it even by entering my public IP address followed by the 2456 port number. Has anyone else run into this issue? I am able to connect to the server using my LAN just fine but outside my network is where the issues are appearing.

I have gone as far as deleting everything that has to do to with CMD and starting fresh. This is a computer that is just for running servers. I have ark and project zomboid running no problems. When I go to claim my server its says I need an admin password. It does not give me the window to claim the server like yours does at 7:06. I have no problem with starting fresh, I have already done that and get the same message every time. I have never set a password so not sure what I am doing wrong. Please advise thank you.

Follows it all, ping is 9999. fiber ethernet connection, cannot join via list or direct connect. advise?
