I always thought a C12P was a ceramic speaker, because Jensen tend to designate their ceramic speakers with a "C" prefix. I suppose they also designate alnico with a "P" prefix, so maybe they were alnico... but they certainly don't look it either.

Greenies front pickup is also rotated backwards.

Sounding tasty as usual, I got my first Fender amp with bright switch recently, a 1967 Bassman head, which is black-panel with drip-edge (transition?). We saw your friend JD Simo here in Portland recently at a clinic he did. Seeing his telecaster up close I couldn't believe how low the strings are - almost touching the frets, yet he plays brilliant slide guitar - amazingly sensitive touch!

Hi Nick I emailed you asking about the firebird I thought you installed a different pickup is it just the pots you switched out Oh the Greco firebird I have coming from Japan has two pick ups and the firebird on the pick guard Thanks Nik Never mind I just found the part where you said new pickup from vintage correct.

I use alot of my pedals Like this to cause I live in a apartment building so can't always crank it up. This is a great method to do at lower volumes and I can get really killer tones without my neighbors wanting to kill me. I just acquired a fender super six reverb from 72 so this definitely helps.

You're mighty lucky if You got this for a few hundred bucks. I'd love to find one for that price.

Great to see you back Nik throwing those kickass SRV riffs!! I highly agree that there is so much tonal diversity in the flick of this bright switch, I have fiddled a lot with it on my 75 Twin Reverb EQing all the while trying to find that sweet spot. Hope you showcase some Robin Trower tones too someday ;)
