Welcome to my farming channel, my name is Rob. I work alongside my dad on our 450 acre farm in Cambridgeshire, growing cereal and root crops. I am aiming to give you an insight into a young farmers life and what we get up to on a day to day basis. My overall goal is to give people a view on how important agriculture is and where our food comes from. Who knows where or what we will be doing !! So please join me !

massey combine nice combine ican watch channal more now
Best of luck with her👍
Ps Rob forgot to say I completely agree with your thoughts on this so called Government shower of shit intent on ruining people.
Phew Rob you've had me worried again mate glad you and dad got your new machine hope she serves you well I'm sure it will pity its not yellow mate you know I'm a New Holland nut mate. Very interesting video as usual yours and Dove farms are the best on you tube never miss and watch them and earlier ones while I'm having my chemo treatment. All the best to you and the family and Spud of course please keep 'em coming mate .I'm in Peterborough Rob always keep me eye out when I'm over your way hope one day to see you.
Bro plz reply what is your country and its good for for other countries people and muslims
I have been using an old two leg subsoiler behind my 1986 Ford 4110 4wd to make planting slits for willow cuttings. I supply willow branches to a Zoo for the Giraffes to browse on.😊
Hi Rob, I know a farming that for the last 30 years they have always had a Newholland combine but all Massey Ferguson tractors . So you can mix brands. Good luck with your new to you Combine. 😊
If its the one from Manor Farm Spridington it will be in very good order along with the other item's and the farm itself
I didn't know Pecks have lost the New Holland dealership? Any idea why as they seem to shift a lot of kit.
You will be on top of the job with that bigger combine Rob, plus you have a good dealership around you which makes a big difference. It's good to see you've caught up with your drilling look forward to the next video.
Good choice. . 👍
Hiya,Rob lovely looking combine hope it does you well thinnk it will .could always spray it yellow 😊 . I totally agree with your videos sooner have a interesting one than lots of boring ones. And your right fed up with the budget . And besides every farm is different. I find a lot of farming channels are all coping each other and it's so boring . Me and my bro would love to pop over for a nose. And buy a bag of spuds of you. Over the winter .
Alright there Rob. 83Ha winter wheat drilled, only another 200Ha to go. Nice little combine you've got yourself there, it may be the 'wrong' colour but I'm sure it will serve you well.
cracking video Rob 👍 some of those fields have started to come though nice and also nice tidy looking combine you have got now be looking forward to your next harvest videos and see it working
We had one. We were very pleased just out grow it miss it, good sample and doesn't bash the starw up to much really over 8 years was very reliable I think we had a few bearing go that's life replaced with skf but was serviced every year. Did find when chopping and unloading the power soon went but again that's life no difference to the claas combines
Nice to see you back, Rob, and i'm pleased to see you've managed to change the combine. I hope you have good luck with it. It's also nice to see you haven't let the Budget get you down. Great video.
Good purchase there Rob, you can see it's not done a lot . The crops are looking good , good to know you have drilled all up.
Cant believe you have gone red. Why not go for tx68
Good combine.
Cracking purchase rob. Has long as it’s right for you then it’s the right decision. You will cover the ground in less days too. Great videos keep them coming
Another good update I am sure the Massey will serve you well do you wash and grade your potatoes
Cracking looking machine Rob, good investment! look forward to seeing it out on the fens
Worth a try,
She’ll serve you well Rob, clean as a whistle and for an 18 plate done bugger all. Great video Rob👌
cant wait to see the combine working ,, cant be wrong . We totally aggree about putting better qwality vids out rather then lots of them . Its quite a bit of work to keep putting the vids out . Keep safe and hope to come for that beer soon thanks
Why you not px the new holland Rob. Good to see you back !!
Pleased to see you back on the channel. “An old head on young shoulders”. Your the future of British Farming. That app is a great aide memoir for you to double check what your applications are. Prefer New Holland to Massey, but a 20’ cut vs 15’ cut is a no brainier, you will notice a massive difference during harvest. It will keep you busy running the trailers. Keep British Farmers Farming. 🇬🇧🚜👍
Rob I have just had to pick myself up off the floor, never thought I would see red on the farm. To be honest it looks a very clean well looked after machine and it has found a new home where the same care will be taken with it. Just wondering has dad polished it yet 🤔😝 Looks like a bit more shed building is required fella 🤦🏼
Great to see you rob, combine looks lovely, hope she does you well, your need a bit more land now!! Dont no why their not popular the old ones certainly were but im sure dad will love it.
What a lovely piece of kit Rob, Dad will love that. Good for you all 👍
Looks like Father Christmas as come early for you. Looks well looked after confident your dad will enjoy driving that next harvest
i love your taste #masseylove
Cool 😎 MF was my favourite combine when I was young with model farming toys 😜 ACTIVA? Does it need a yogurt for digestion 😂 😂😂 Gonna be a colourful next harvest 🎉
😂😂 cheers mate, hope so !! You know what they say a yogurt a day keeps the doc away ?😂😂🤦🏻♂️
@ Yeah I was laughing when seeing the side of the new combine. 😜 might need a fastrac on harvest 🏎️
I found Norfolk Fords when looking for videos on Tractors smilar tomy 1986 Ford 4110 4wd. His Ford 4610 came up. Who and where is your new New Holland dealership ?😊
Great to have 3 generations on a family farm , working together to feed the nation. I presume your Grandparents are mostly retired ? Storing in potatoe boxes must take a fair amount more shed space and vast numbers of expensive Tattie boxes that need to be stored the rest of the year ?
Well your spraying must have worked as it combined alright for you.😊
Good to see you and Spud.😊
Well done for finishing your combine harvest. Still catching up.😊
Good luck withe the oats n beans
Sorry catching up on my videos while my wife is away at The Horse of the Year Show. Congratulations on your Malting barley.😊
Well said on the way this country is. The UK government hasn't got a clue ! Keep up the good work 🚜
Irrigating spuds, almost my only job from green top to main crop, 425 acres, ALL ON MY OWN!! there was another 250 acres irrigated by 3 farm workers. I laid out miles of 4in & 5in pipes, most of the water came out of large lagoons, but i also took it out dykes, bloody hated that, forever pissed wet through, the bursts I had made up for other soakings. All my pump engines had 6 cylinder perkins, we swore by them. I was forever fitting seals in the pumps. I liked the job when thing went well, most of the rented land was a stones throw away from Flamingo park zoo, over the years there had been escapees, I came very close a few times in the dead of night with a roaming Black Panther & its family!! I got local game keeper to chase it away, but it was only keeper that ran away! Running through the middle of the rented land was a rail line, on one occasion, a Sunday afternoon, gun was almost in, touch and go which came in 1st, gun or FLYING SCOTSMAN, gun won when 10 bar pressure water hit the engine i thought it was off to blow up, as for those fools with their heads out, got their eye balls a good wash, .....I had a bit of a claim to fame with my irrigating exploits in local rag.....lmao...
Great video and very interesting. Subscribed 👍🏼
Thanks for the sub!
Fen boy myself Rob. Great content mate hats off. Where you going for a pint. Boat inn I would Recommend .😊
The boat is where I went 👍🏻
