I nailed through the tar line on mine because I seen the previous caps I removed were done that way . What are the chances it leaks ? Won’t the tar seal the nail hole ?

When this happens on my truck, I just hook up the OBD two. I reset the code and the thing runs fine. I carry an OBD two with me every place I go problem solved within a minute. There’s a reason it goes into limp mode that’s to protect the engine. I really liked that feature because I am good at breaking things.

When you loosen the nut then turn the hex do you then retighten the nut? Or is the hex tightening rebinding things? Also how much should you loosen the nut itself. I have about the same amount of play that you were showing. Thanks for any info!

Thanks for the video, I have an issue with my trim gauge needle. Cleaned up the grounds on bus bar at the back of the boat. The needle of the gauge now moves. However, now when I tap the trim button on the throttle, needle goes all the way up and when I tap down the needle goes all the way down. It does this even with the slightest tap of the trim button. How can I fix this, have you heard of this sort of thing happening before? .any thanks to you.

My ridge caps are showing signs of age , but the rest of the architecture shingles are ok. Can I replace ridge caps only ??

everything is sae doesn't matter because some metric are close enough. Also zip ties will not last they are not UV stable.

I didnt see how the big bellows was attached to the bell housing???
