Hey, still a great video. How can I print items, applying track effects but keeping extra handles? Basically I need to send the edited session to the mix engineer, who works on Pro Tools. I can generate an AAF using Vordio but I would need to print vst effects on items (I would avoid sending stems without items separation).

In my case , When i use the reasampler for my hats , percs etc , on changing The velocities , it does not give the desired output . It does shows that the velocity is being reduced but i cannot hear the difference. Seems like there's no change in the velocity . In short , visually u can see thay the velocity is being changed in the midi editor , but there's no such change while we hear it

I don't know why, but my action list doesn't have a Navigate up or down option, just next or previous note..

Question - unrelated to hot key.... your colors look brighter than mine. For some reason, the colors I choose in the palette always get darkened on that actual tracks and channels. How do I stop that?

Absolutely amazing. I've dabbled with Reaper for a few years but never really committed to it. However, since I'm now trying to move away from Windows, I've decided to fully embrace Reaper - and it's so amazing that there are all these scripts for free. But they're not just free - THEY ARE SUPERB! Props to everyone.

Sucks that its not for Live 11, Ive Moved on to ableton as my main DAW for composing. i re install reaper out of sheer boredom today and of course this guy has a video i need. I dont watch a whole lot but seriously man Thanks for all your time to figure this stuff out and make the content for everyone else.

Great video! Do you know if there's a way to prevent the MIDI editor to change the Time Selection of the project? Always when I use the right-drag to marquee select notes in the MIDI window, it also changes the Time Selection, even if it's locked... it's a bit annoying, hehe

Hey nice one...I have recently started my hands on Reaper...one thing that i am missing, is record behavior in Midi Editor...as some times i don't want to see my arrange window while working in midi editor and it makes really sluggy to me to click arrange window every time, to activate recording in midi editor...even i cannot move forward and backward my playhead with hot keys in midi editor as in arrange window....

FYI, you don't need to wiggle. Just touching it is enough.

OMG Thanks!! I spent two hours last night trying to figure out WTF these controls were. Yep - went to their site looking for info and their instructional videos pass right over any details regarding this ridiculous UI. I didn't find a use manual - so your video was the most enlightenment I've found yet. The instruments do sound really good though... GREAT Video - thanks so much - it made my day!!
