if you haven't figured it out yet the problem is the actual rusting steel ball end rubbing in the ball joint socket, jacking up so the suspension has moved it more than normal travel and partially moved that rust and is what has stoped the noise "temporarily, it will be back" spraying the outside is absolutely pointless and a total lack of knowing anything, if anything your indescriminate spraying of lubricant is likely to deposit some on the brakes which is going to be a deadly mistake (see if you can guess why) you should immediately stop trying to fix cars, hand any tools you have to someone else, no offence but your dumb to try fixing a car with zero knowledge, its actually scary thinking others are following your uneducated, dangerous instruction. if you or anyone reading thinks I'm wrong talking from the perspective of being a retired mechanic with decades of experience please don't take my word for it shows this post to your own qualified mechanic and watch him cringe.

Like anything in this world, there are the odd defective products. Anything manufactured has a possibility of failure. Question here, is this a quirk? We don't know this, But it is something to note. Time will tell if this is a one off situation, or not.

Unplug of 12 volt battery for 5 minutes and plug it back in see if it clears it I found a problem like this on the previous battery pack and it fixed it

For the batteries so you you might get a good battery? I'm not sure you got a new battery. Sounds like you got the software upgrade. The new batteries are still is short supply. I got the software upgrade but I get about 80% charge now and over 220 miles when full. $16K each is unreal good deal with the battery defect. My is working great.

this makes no sense the 2022 battery is completely different than the old batteries also the new batteries come from Holland and hazel park in mi and why did they do a battery replacement and not update your cars software

Thx for the Video, i Bought the Marinade injection ($10 ) & Grease ($8) from Canadian Tire in Canada & put into Upper Ball joint control Arm, good & easy Solution

Been dealing with this for a month myself and about to go on vacation. They gave us a loaner model x and guess what? It was 100 times worse than our Y. It squeaks doing anything but moving forward ajnd it sucks! .

Has the fixed held up? I had one replaced on the driver side at my expense. Now the passenger side is doing it. I am going to inject grease into the joint.

Mine is still waiting on parts. Service was originally scheduled at the beginning of the month now it’s on the 29th 😩 please have the parts in already. This is embarrassing.
