      Try and spin the agitator by hand. If it is really easy and spins fast then something is broken. It should have some resistance as connected to the motor etc

      Spinning of the drum is different to the agitation. If you have no agitation but you can hear the motor running then you need to remove the agitation plate and check the spline.

      Possibly could be the start capacitor as it gets hot the internal resistance fails and the start capacitor degrades. They are cheap to replace so try that first. Make sure to discharge the capacitor before removing it.

      fwiw, because I could not pull the agit up after removing the bolt, I flooded with WD40 and left o'nite. That was still nbg so tried hot water and still nbg. In the end it came up but that was hours after the hot-water application. The metal splined insert was left behind on the motor peg. No idea why the peg splines gripped so tight to the insert. It was almost empty despite no visible leaks. Now it lifted a 2 ton car without hesitation. I had already bought a new one, but this oldie has both thicker steel and larger piston than the new one, so it doesn't flex at all and requires fewer strokes to raise, despite being rather cheap back in the day. Do RCDs cut the power off for the whole house or only for a certain section of the house because if a person has a leaking roof and there is water coming into the roof and if a person installs a RCD on the switchboard will the RCD cut the power for the whole house because that would be a complete disaster especially in winter if the RCD cut the power for the whole house?

    • @NotSealed

      There are two different types of rcd installs. Ones that only do one circuit and are built into the circuit breaker. RCBO. That way if it trips it will only do that one power circuit. Lol I got a good one. I built a CNC machine completely custom and from scratch. I'm very proud of the wiring. Correct wire gauges, distribution blocks and fusing. 3D printed mounts for everything. But when it came to the power switch, and power supply, an electrician wanted to charge me $600 to terminate the wires. 5 minute job because I had everything prepared for him. Luckily one of my sparky mates heard how much I was about to pay and he came and did it for free but still. I also got quoted a similar amount to change a cracked switch plate. I finally got annoyed enough to buy the same plate, wires weren't secured properly and not twisted correctly and too long leaving too much copper exposed for my liking so that got trimmed. Also they wired the light to the middle switch and the heat lamps to the top switch which I ended up reversing because it annoyed me. Whole thing took 15 minutes. Was still a little scared even with the main breaker off.

    What dilution do you make your CLR solution to clean the scale and do you use that same percentage spraying the pads? Do you use the formaldehyde free pads? Thank you!!

      @NotSealed 2 місяці тому

      These evaporated coolers also known as swamp coolers are designed to be mounted on the roof. I have seen a few designs that are mounted on the ground and then have ductwork up the side of the house wall and into the roof space. Yes not fun to work on as you need to have fall protection.

      How long will it run for after starting? It does sound like a fuel or spark issue. A blocked air filter will also cause that issue.

      Very strange I can only think that there is still an air lock, the oil level is not correct or that the piston is not sealed properly. Also make sure that the hydraulic ram lower screw is tightened up.

I didnt notice that the small ball bearings,spring and small metal part also fell to the drain bucket.til i came along this photo at google that it has this small parta inside the screw holes 😅 luckily i havent drained the bucket so i was able to fish the small parts using magnet 😂 anyway,thanks for the reply. Make sure the battery is charged. Try a jump start from another car. The lamps and codes flashing means the battery is going below 12v most probably under 10v during the cranking of the car.

    Here's a short story maybe you can help diagnose but I was riding to school and didn't have time to go to the gas station so my bike was near E on the gas gauge. After class was over, I went to the gas station and filled it to the full line. About 5 minutes later my bike shut off while riding on the road. I still had power. It cranks but won't start the engine. I went home and spent about a month trying to figure out the problem. It's not fuel related because I tested the fuel pressure at 43 psi and 10 seconds 400-500 mL of fuel comes out. In the manual 220 mL was the minimum. I change the fuel pump filter and gas is cleaned. I hooked up an external pump and that didn't solve the no start problem. I changed the fuel injectors filter (basket) and tested for spray. I changed the spark plugs and injectors. I see the spark plug has a spark when firing. That means the stator and crankshaft sensor is working? I heard about the low oil sensor which prevents engine starting so I changed the oil and oil filter. I have a battery charger I used to hook up so it's not battery related. Could it be a bad ECU? That cost about $500 for a used one and I don't got the money for that. Also I'm looking at camshaft sensor next and will use a multimeter to test that. I can crank the bike but it keeps cranking over and over again. The bike won't start but it sounds like it wants too.

    • @NotSealed
      @NotSealed 3 місяці тому

      If you have fuel and spark it should fire up. Check the air filter that it's clean and clear. I have seen water in fuel before so maybe drain the tank and refill. It's not a blocked fuel filter as you say the volume is correct. Something could be shorting out to ground but still doesn't explain why you have spark, fuel, and air but its not starting. I'm leaning towards bad fuel. The next best bet is take it to a motorcycle mechanic. They can plug in and detect any fault codes.

      You said you put oil in it. I would drain the engine oil completely and refill just in case there is water in the engine oil. Charge the battery fully even though it's new. Check air filter that it's not blocked with bugs etc
