Hi, I have a 2023 Seat Arona FR. Do you know how easy it is to identify an airbag issue with this software and device? Or, in the worst case, is it possible to disable the affected airbag and get rid of the airbag light? I assume that this should be done in the coding option, under Advanced Settings, right? Excellent video. I’ve been a Tesla driver for 8 years and I just got a new i5 M60 BMW. One pedal driving is easy to master and I rarely touch the brake in the BMW. I do wonder if I’m putting excess wear on the electric engine or the brake system. Knowledgeable comments are appreciated. On the BMW, you have an option of high, medium, low, or adaptive. High puts a lot of regen braking but won’t stop the car. I use adaptive which works beautifully and brings the car to a full stop.

Lots of people say one pedal driving is NOT more efficient, because most people end up slowing down too much, requiring more acceleration. If regen was 100% effective, that wouldn’t matter, but they only recoup about 20%.

I hope you are not a tester yourself, so many incorrect comments. Just to mention one, seat belt locking mechanism is checked. I have seen this on lots of 'how to check your own car before an MOT'. When I worked for DVSA as a MOT Trainer I would ask, new testers and on some Refresher courses about this and hardly anyone knew that the locking mechanism IS NOT PART OF THE TEST. Read the inspection manual.

A6 2015 2L supercharged consumed oil (class action suit) and then catastrophic failure of the engine. So common it’s very hard to get one to replace it with. I was dedicated to maintenance. The engines are defective. I loved my Audi. I’d never get one again!

I was looking at the 2024 corolla hybrid but my 18 year old son will be using the car. I'm not sure if a new driver would be safe with regen brakes. I've read people complaining that the brakes feel like your stepping on a toilet paper roll and the feeling isn't direct at all. I think 4 disc brakes makes more sense to me.

Is it worth fixing an oil leak, or does that mean it's time to get rid of the car? If we have the leak fixed, will it generally last and not further damage the car?

MG Brake Pedal also moves on it's own - that's how the Regenerative Braking System works

Thanks for this tip. I drive a 2012 Toyota Yaris hatchback, same issue. We are going to take off the door "card" and replace the sealant with Butyl tape. Hope this fixes it, both sides at the rear are soaked.

Definitely going preloaded (coilovers). Compressing springs is silly and dangerous enough to not find out. 100k mi car you'll fare better replacing them outright.
