Gardening in January? Land Clearing for New Garden
You've already got two winters worth of firewood laid down right there
For sure!
That’s one handy machine!
Good to see your growing homestead. You have a nice stand of trees and I like that you can see through it. It will be nice for them to take the trees if they can and if you heat or cook with wood as heat that would be good or if power were to go out. Regardless you have plenty of small ones also for fence posts if need be and for projects. The brick home I believe is your home and it is a lovely looking structure. I saw you on Jason and Elaines Sow The Land getting your two new little pigs. Best of luck on all your beginnings and building your homestead. I will ck back and see what you are up to. Blessings
Thank you, and welcome to the channel!
Hello 👋 from Jackson Tennessee, I don’t know if this information is new to you or not. I have been learning about silvo pastures and the general rule of thumb is a 50 foot radius around each tree will allow enough sunlight through the canopy for growing great grass pastures and still leaving the healthiest trees
Hey Bill - I have done a little research on silvo pasture and heard a rule of 50% canopy (50% blue sky, 50% tree canopy when you look up) that I have been working towards, but I will have to try measuring out 50 feet - it would probably be easier to map out that way. Appreciate you sharing!

You look like it's painful to make a video.

Cool. I have noticed some scan tool misfire counters seem to crap out when the counts are off the charts (like a dead misfire) and stop counting.
