Okey dokey Angie, let's give the uharvest a whirl! Yes, I used your discount code x)
I hope you like it!!! 😀
That's nothing like the one I got very fiddly and poor instructions
Really? Same brand or different one. The instructions were very good with mine! Good luck!
Everything looks glorious!! 💚💚💚
I have used the iHarvest for many years and they still amaze me. I am an affiliate with the company but couldn’t imagine using anything else. Get $50 off with this link. (igworks.com/?ref=AngieChristine) Would you ever consider growing a garden inside?
Did you buy the 50 or the 100 watt?
The link to the one I purchased is in the video description. I believe it’s 100
Did you buy the 50 or the 100w?
Does it trap mosquitoes?
I’d say that it’s got a usb plug Is quite simple, It’s because every one uses them !! Ie me myself I use them and I’m in the uk My friend Sri he uses them And he’s in India So I suppos what I’m saying is Every one on the planet uses a usb type plug 🔌 and that emoji one is nothing like a uk plug But talking about I’m glad that we use the right emoji for pants 🩲 Randomly you Americans don’t speak properly lol 😂
Can we use broccolini seeds from another company for the Iharvest? I don't see it on their site. Also, would i be able to grow cucumbers, zucchini, broccolini, lettuce, and strawberries at the same time? Thank you in advance!!!
You can grow any seeds you want!! I purchase them from farm stores, dollar store, true leaf market, burpee, you name it! As far as the same time it “can” be done. But I recommend one grow cycle of plants that like the same nutrients together. The cucumber, zucchini, broccoli, some tomatoes, they all will do low nutrient at the start and once they flower you increase nutrients for the fruiting process. Which at that time would be too high for greens and lettuces. Strawberries also like lower but are very picky with PH levels. Many people grow those all alone. But you can experiment and you will learn as ya grow. Good luck. Can’t wait to show off my flower wall soon in a video. Been waiting for it to grow for a few months now! Remember always just have fun!
How to work this sprinkler head
Just pop it on the tube and it runs itself on a timer 😄
It’s still my all time favorite system! I got mine just a bit after you got your first one! 💚 Thank you so much for all the growing tips!
I agree. I have tested a few and it still is my fav. Glad you like it!
Angie thank you for such great content and how to explanations. I got a sump pump and I will be cleaning my iharvest for the first time.
Thank you! Hope it went well. They can be some what of a pain but they all are and in the end they are worth it!!!
❤❤👍🫶
W video
Although it’s not the BEST fencing it has done its job. We added extra length this time as we had a lot of the roll left. It’s inexpensive and does what it’s supposed to. You can grab it on Amazon. amzn.to/3xx8nNu (amazon affiliate link) Next time we will try electric fencing. 😊
Would you have a link for growing guide pls
I do not. I just bought it on Amazon. You can follow the instructions on the back of seed packets. Plant each plant according to usually about a half inch or so under soil and keep moist until they sprout
EC is always the better range than PPM to raise any plant. EC is the same measurement on ALL testers regardless of make. The 500 and 700 scale is common to Bluelab tools because they sell to Europe, and America , and both scales are used in those countries. To go beyond the EC scale on a Bluelab Truncheon (or any measuring tool) will only lead to DEAD PLANTS because to exceed the EC available range on any Bluelab Truncheon will mean you have overfed your plants and that will cause root rot leading to a dead plant. To educate yourself , especially with any Bluelab tool , just visit the Bluelab site , OR a simple search here on UA-cam will return some excellent videos on the entire Bluelab range where owners have demonstrated every item in the Bluelab range. Knowledge is king.
Do you think it will grow broccoli sprouts?
I don’t see why not. It’s best for bean sprouts but I have also used it to sprout seeds just to put in the garden. I think actual sprouting trays would be your best bet. This is an older video I did on trays. They work amazing. ua-cam.com/video/fYbBPFd4HD4/v-deo.htmlsi=GIUCHLYskTUpojrh
How did you move the full Mr Stacy from the table to your deck?
I just picked it up carefully. Or you can move it later by layer
@@GrowYourHomesteadWithAngie THANK YOU!
Thanks for the video my worm farm should be here in a few days. This was very helpful. I subbed!
Your title says "Blue Lap"
Wow how are you the first to notice. Thank you!
I’m doing my best not to make a dirty joke. 😂
😉
Omg dirt thing that came to mind. The life cycle is within everything living and it’s amazing
Giggity.
Thank you for your video! I am in Northern Indiana, right by the Michigan border :D I am wondering how many years do they lay eggs, how long do they live and what do you do with them when they stop laying eggs?
Good questions. They lay almost every day for about two years. Then they lay maybe three a week after that and can do that until around five or so (very generalized as some breeds can vary). Many people will keep them as pets. We usually rotate the hens and bring in new ones dispatching the older ones. Around four years you can tell they slow down. They start acting older. Some we just lost to age or health issues. Some have lived to 10 or older but that’s not as common. But my husband takes care of them when needed. I hope that helps
Thank you.
You’re so welcome. Still use it all the time and minus the handles being a little dirty they look new! It’s a great set!
😊
Sooo cute! I bought a Rolife kit for myself but was really disheartened that I have to cut out all of the tiny bits of paper myself, I was hoping they'd be stickers or perforated pieces of cardboard. I just don't have that type of dexterity!
Most of the tiny ones you don’t have to cut. They are slightly perforated. The only ones I had to cut all the way was floor and ceiling. Take your time. It was worth it :)
By the way, you did a great job on your video.Thank you so much for your information.
Glad it was helpful!
Will I have an enormous amount of worms after a period of time? What Will I do with them at that point? I just purchased my worms today, and i want to start out small.
Great video angie, thanks!
You're so welcome!
Check your local farm store like Tractor Supply! Grab the seeds quick. They sell out fast! Here’s a link to the Burpee brand I purchase (not an affiliate..just sharing my secret)! ❤❤ www.burpee.com/radish-dragons-tail-prod100008.html?queryID=e192e3bd3727a93f17454fbc8fc951f4&objectID=4490&indexName=burpee_production_default_products
Is simply kitchen appliances because everyone should have this in there kitchen 🌿🥗🥬✨
This light is probably perfect for kitchen counter herb garden, I thought would be more similar to a black light but is works well is good me gusta ✨
It’s has worked very well for me and surprisingly still works after all this time. It’s great for additional light to my other lights. House plants and yes for sure herbs !
Cilantro seeds are not hard at all to germinate they are actually one of the easiest, every single one of my seeds germinated
Maybe because of climate? Every Fb group I am on struggles with cilantro. Where do you buy your seeds?
@@GrowYourHomesteadWithAngielowes, the brand is ferry morse
I’m in Florida and my cilantro takes foreverrrr I’m potting some new seeds today.
I looked here on UA-cam for assembly tutorial videos for the Runshed(?) brand raised garden bed, but couldn't find any. There were some for Birdie and Vego brand beds though. I don't have any of the above, so i don't have any stake in the matter in saying this. There were also many DIY vids on homemade raised garden beds. The reason i looked for tutorial videos in the first place is because I've found from personal experience that a well made tutorial video is vastly better than the vast majority of very crudely illustrated and vaguely explained assembly instruction guides that are shipped with anything. Anything at all. Maybe that Runshed package contains fairly good instructions, idk, but you mentioned you had some kind of confusion in figuring something out, which took a little longer, and that's often been my experience with assembly instructions too. What more manufacturers need to do is put a QR code in the instructions that immediately links you to a YT video showing the proper, step by step & well explained assembly of that product. If a picture is worth the proverbial thousand words, than a well-made video by someone who also knows how to explain things in plain English is worth a million words. If manufacturers would do that, it would go so incredibly far in helping all their customers. Comment edited to correct mispellings.
I totally agree. The only confusion I had was the start with the legs. Didn’t realize there was a left and a tight. So two left legs and two right legs which I put one one side. After flipping those I was fine with instructions. This want mean to be a build with me but an overall experience and how to plant video. But as I have e built lots of “amazon” products I totally feel your pain. Thanks for sharing your experiences!
Nice! 🐱
Angie Funny how YT works. I know you have more than just this one Short. So this is the 10th time seeing it. It's a great short. Wonder when more of your Shorts will flow into my feed. Now I see how I got 400k on one of my shorts. 😮
That’s crazy. The algorithm is weird. I can do a short and a few have hit 10k views. But then others are around 1k. Then I do a long form and it’s in the hundreds of views for like 6 months or more then it’s pushed out and takes off. You can always go to my home page and go to shorts and watch a few. That may help. I’m doing more and more of them now :) thanks for watching and congrats on a viral!
How many eggs per day do you need lady?
Well seeing how I have 16 chickens and they should lay an egg a day…16! I don’t NEED them. It is more of a spoof video. Chicken owners get it. Ha ha. This is what they do. Be I consistent! 🤣
Egg dish... or chicken dish.
🤣
Well done. Thanks a lot 🎉
Do you have chickens? Giving them grace sometimes can be hard on the homestead but good for the heart ❤
Thanks for linking the full! 🙂
Of course! No problem
:) I expected a cleaning video of that hard-to-remove algae, but I'll accept this pre-cleaning video instead. Love your setup. I only have room for 1, myself. Hope you transplanted those onions. I wouldn't be able to resist seeing that bulb reach full potential.
Your right. I should link a full video to this short. Thanks for pointing that out. Here’s a cleaning video for you. And we did move the two onions but my husband ate the third. 😂 ua-cam.com/video/pTiEYgN0rB8/v-deo.htmlsi=IKoEYDhGxmCS4fl7
Super cool thanks
Glad you liked it
Super cool thanks
eww im alergic to vegetables
I’m sorry. That’s why I’m doing flowers now. You can grow whatever you want. Allergic to lettuce and greens too? 😉
What do you think of indoor gardening?? It has changed my gardening journey and my life. What started it all on YT. The iHarvest. - Save $50 here. Check it out. igworks.com/?ref=AngieChristine
The Amazon lights are awful IMO
I just received mine from Amazon and I just started growing tomato seedlings indoors, my first time growing ANYTHING. It’s ALL new to me! Thank you so much for your review! Very motivating!👍🏼😊
What does it plug into? I just bought this and it doesn’t come with directions and it doesn’t plug into a normal charging block.
Have you considered doing a diy Gardyn? It’s on my mind. Bc, even though my Gardyn is lovely, I am thinking that it isn’t anything that can’t be done with some PVC pipe, I UV lights and a simple water pump…
I have thought about it just for the fact of doing it. But for the aesthetics for my dining room I like the premade pretty ones. Like the iHarvest. But maybe some day I will make a tower garden just for the experience of it
