Hey! Might be an odd question but I use my Canon M50 M2 mostly for streaming as my facecam but also use it to record stuff like panels from time to time. Would you recommend the Sigma in that case? I really like having a stronger bokeh which is what it seems like it can do better for my streams. I guess I'm just worried that since the lens itself is bigger, it may appear way closer than the 22m I'm currently using. Thoughts?

You skipped over the only thing UA-camrs care about, 16:9 1080p 30fps recording for UA-cam. Nothing else you talked about matters. Not sure how you could miss that as a UA-camr (???)

What lens would you recommend? I’m a beginner I have the sigma 35mm ( also loved your review on it). I want to do a combination of portraits and Candids but noticed that for Cándida that require zoom is shows a lot of noise :( What other lens would you recommend?

I have the r50. I have the stm 1.8 35mm and the kit lense. I’m worried the IS might be an issue for shaky videos and photos. Also does it shoot fast in low light situations like the 1.8 35mm? Because the kit lense is slow and I seem to always miss the perfect shot and they show up as a bit blurry. Also the sharpness on the kit lense isn’t great vs the 1.8 35mm prime. Is the sharpness of photos as good as the 35mm or is it worse.

Does canon have an app for sharing photos and videos to your phone like gopro where you have to buy a subscription or is it free? Because I don't want to pay monthly/yearly subscriptions

I’m not sure if I should take this one, I’ve read in the comments that it’s similar to the 50mm and I always use that one (mostly at 1.8 since I want the bokeh effect), but I’m looking for another one that allows me to obtain that effect in full figure portraits and to not have to go far from the person. I’ve thought about the 35mm at 1.8 at least but it’s quite expensive though /: which one would you recommend?

I own the M50 and whenever I turn it vertical the image is sideways. How to I shoot a vertical video using HDMI out into my computer and have my image be vertical instead of sideways?

Have you tried filming something while zooming in and out a couple of times? I've seen some reviews where the lens loses focus completely every time you zoom. Do you have the same issue?

I've got it on R50. It's better than I expect. The benefit of better AF system on newer Canons really shine over equivalent Sonys(ZV-E10)/Nikon(Z50/Z30).

Great review! Have you had any issues with the r10 not being stabilized for stills?

I suspect the pandemic ended Canon's M-series. I carry my M6mkii for street photography with very small and optically perfect Leica M-mount lenses. I find that setting the focal range like a rangefinder lets me grab quick shots in the moment. The flexibility to program all the dials and buttons really lets me set the camera up for stealthy shots!

How does it compare to the regular D4 Mini which you also reviewed?

out of all my lenses, the one that has earned me the most money is easily the Sigma 16mm

I bought mine new a few years ago. Other than the limitless recording in the new Canon cameras, my M6 Mark II smokes most of the new Canon R line. It is IMHO the most underrated camera that is still a very viable camera, even for professional work.

I recently got the MKE 400 and I have trouble recording the sound properly. It sounds much more quiet on the recording than on the live-test with the headphones plugged in. When I was checking the sound before recording I was surprised how much it picks up and I loved it right away. Once I heard the recording though I was disapointed. I use a Zoom F2 field recorder and I already switched from 48 down to 44.1 kHz which is "louder" and more crisp. But it´s still relativly quiet compared to the live audio with the plugged in headphones. Any ideas what I am doing wrong?
