The first three and only studio Mr bungle albums with the original lineup are all freaking amazing. All of them are probably among the 10 best albums I've ever heard. I listen to Disco volante so much in high school and college. I mean obviously there's a lot of Avant guard stuff but stuff like Carrie's stress in the jaw and desert search for techno allah had some really cool grooves in there as well that had some sneaky appeal to people that are not normally into that type of music. I had the CD version of disco volante so the secret song was not hidden and I always just thought it was the last 4 minutes of Carry stress in a jaw

This guy's work has been so central to dealing with tough times in my youth and finding out that the path I wanted to take in life is music, but I never thought in a million years he would be on a totally different page than me when it came to out personal tastes. I often felt a lot of resentment for bands like the RHCP and Nirvana. I thought the created an environment in the 90s that made it difficult for bands like type O to exist. Some of the worst bullying for my love of metal came from fans of alt rock. I would have never guessed someone I looked up to so much would embrace so much music I despise

If non-Christian bands quit adding satan and hell to their album artwork, lyrics, clothing, etc, it might dilute the old assumptions. Tom from Slayer is Catholic, openly, but then he writes songs about…stuff.

sharon is full of crap" the pilot blod came back clean no drugs no booze! what really happened was randy was real tight whth his mom and wanted to know if the pilot could take him up so he could get some photos of the property he was staying at and of the bus , so randy sat in the back and the girl in the front , so randy took some photos of the property and as thebanked the plane to one side , the plane was eqipped wht two steering columes one on each side of the drivers and passenger side whth four peddles two on each ruder pedles , anyways as they banked to one side to snap a photo of there tour bus the girl slid toward the pilot and her feet caught on the ruder peddle forcing the plane down and into the bus stopping inside the garage! thats how it really happened ! check on the pilots toxicolegy report and you will see for yourself! why people lie ill never know!

He makes a very good point here. I think on a seperate note that there are far more people who are Christian who like and play metal than what people realize. I also think that when it comes to bands like slayer and many others. I personally believe many bands are tackling topics like the bery darkest sides of human nature and not so much the promotion of the devil. Most metal bands are sort of like Stephen King movies if that makes sense

I'm sorry, but the dude is an absolute racist, and has been trying to backtrack and downplay it when he gets caught out to keep the band marketable his entire career. I loved them in the 90s, I used to sing in a band that covered them, and it was easy to deny it or accept his confusing rationales before the internet made every interview and a thousand shows available, but nobody who isn't a racist doesn't accidentally repeats white supremacist shit over and over and over again for decades. I'm nearly Anselmo's age, also raised in the South, and it wasn't that hard to avoid being a weird-ass loser about it.
