An excellent presentation of content in subject matter. Will constructed well presented and well done keep up the excellent work.. personally in my opinion this is one of Black Sabbath best music albums. The flow of trashed to disturbing the peace, going to zero the hero with the dark and Stonehenge. Just makes that side of the album flow so fast and you want to listen to it again and again. They talk about some of the album being muddy . But the vocals and screams on disturbing the priest or just hypnotizing more so than I heard on any Ozzy Osbourne or Ronnie James Dio vocals with Black Sabbath. I'm not disrespecting Ronnie or Ozzy Osbourne they were great in their own rights too... It's The sign of the Southern Cross... All of his fans can only hope someday we'll get a remix of the Born again album to which standard the band says it should be.

Or if you're just reiterating what's already been said.😊 What we really want is to know when the master reissue is coming out of it how about that info😊 an update. All right I'm going to see how you're doing...

I never acquired this album because I was afraid it was gonna make me mad! Black Sabbath is my favorite band, and I hate to think they were forced to work with an ill-fitting collaborator. Body Count is cool and all, due respect to them. But it all sounds so random! It's not something that grew organically, it was mushed together by the record company. I mean, WHY would you go and bring in some random guy you've never met before to come in and tell you what to play? It's just such a shit idea. Body Count has NOTHING to do with Black Sabbath.

I was 9 in 1989, and I have to say, I would have loved Headless Cross back then. It would've scared the shit out of me, but I would've loved it! I didn't own a copy until I was 36. But it took me right back to my childhood when I loved metal and spent my allowance on music magazines. So I kind of got to enjoy it as a kid anyway! The stigma about Sabbath being passe with an unknown singer, I would neither have known nor cared. I would've loved Tony Martin. I still do, very much. He belongs with Ozzy and Dio, IMO. So does Glenn Hughes. My battle jacket has a patch for Headless Cross and Seventh Star and I wear them proudly alongside images of other classic albums!

Ian sings the song Black Sabbath incredibly well. Better than Ozzy and Ronnie ever did. He sounds so evil and sinister. In my opinion, Born Again was Ian's best work. He shrieked his ass off!

An amazing album! The mix of Ian Gillan’s powerful voice with the dark and gloomy songs on this album are truly fantastic. Gillan is way too hard on himself. The only thing that held back this album was the original production of the album. I loved it. Still listen to songs from this album from time to time.

Really enjoyed that - thank you! Cozy was the first drummer I became aware of (next would be Jeff Porcaro) when I was a nipper. I loved the Bonnet Rainbow stuff and that was pretty much all I knew, so this documentary filled in the gaps. Didn't realise he'd done that much and with whom. Such a lovely guy too, by all accounts. Great energy and spirit. That's a great story in the comments below and so like him to be modest, yet funny.

Nicely done. A tremendous talent and apparently a lovely guy. One thing that seems to come across, especially with a lot of the English musicians of Cozy’s generation, is that the arrogant “rock star” persona isn’t there. Most seen kind and approachable. Maybe not in every case, but a lot of the time.

Headless Cross and TYR are the two best albums of the Tony Martin era of Sabbath. Eternal Idol was an album written for Gillen and I will always feel that way. Cross Purposes was a strange one and I am waiting for 31MAY2024 to listen to Forbidden. I have heard much negative reviews upon that last album of the Martin era and am kinda worried about listening to it until I hear what Iommi intended it to sound as...too bad Cozy isn't around to assist him in that endeavor. Cheers, -a.?/MCD

I met him once. For ten minutes. Just before noon on Sunday 27th February 1977. I was hitch hiking from Wantage in Oxfordshire, UK, to Rowstock Corner, about five miles away. Two car passed but the third one stoped. Not that I knew it at the time but it was a 1974 roso red Ferrari Dino. The most beautiful car I had ever seen (still is).The diver had long black hair and was wearing a white silk shirt, black leather trousers, alligator skin boots and Raybans. I asked, he said jump in. I was astonished. First thing I realized is that this guy could drive. Really drive. I said nothing. Next we rather quickly came up behind one of the cars that had passed me over. Now this road is not good for overtaking so I was thinking too bad, end of that magic carpet ride. But no. A very short opportunity, he dropped it into second and as if time had been speeded up we were in front of it, again going at a spirited pace. I decided time I asked… “Are you in the music business”? “Yeah”. Go on then, who are you”? “I’m Keith Richards”. F*** Me!!! A few minutes later he drops me off and I go to my friends house, slightly shocked. “You’ll never guess…”. “Have you seen today’s News of the. World”? Keith Richards was all over the front page being busted for possession of heroine in Toronto. It took two years before I found out who it was. But I can say I know first hand that he was a very generous person, he loved practical jokes and he drove like the devil. I have never forgotten it. RIP.

Great documentary; had the opportunity to see the very last ELPow show (Phoenix) and it was an amazing spectacle; had the opportunity to hear Cozy warming up beforehand, it sounded like an artillery barrage. Their version of Mars... brought down the house. Would be interested to see the ELPow live footage you showed, it looks like it's from the missing/legendary pro-short MTV supposedly did.

The live album of the CD box set sounds amazing, Cozy was up to everything he wanted to play. He was the best drummer ever. He played with the best and included the genius of Keith Emerson and Greg Lake. Not only they recorded an outstanding album but Cozy also literally set the previous ELP on fire. Amazing. Sadly, they didn't last longer, which they deserved. I don't know, in a way or another, they should have given another chance. Yes, i think the live footage must from the MTV vaults. It's said it is there.
