They must have spent millions on this new ladder. Seems to me this might have been better spent on setting up gravel hatching zones in this gravel section just below the dam, or just south of the hatchery.

Unfortunately there was no fix here. The bubbling cells were producing hydrogen gas ..... overcharging. This caused another cell to drop out and we were at 8.6v ==destroyed. Try adding concentrated sulfuric acid to you weakest cells. problem is getting pure acid at more than 10%.

Victron mppt (see phone app) has 300W panel in parallel with 2-100W (in series) panels. The pwm-solar charge controller to the right has 6-100W panels in parallel. Both controllers fed 178Ahr-12.8v LFP battery. that powers a 600W inverter.

Replacing the plastic cooling pipes (see Key Vanagon Upgrades video) that run the length of the Vanagon with stainless steel pipes, like from GoWesty, has a big impact during summer driving. No longer have to dump heat using the rear heater

There are several ways to calibrate/bind the vertical and horizontal gyro. one way is to use the two buttons on the right hand side of the controller.....you should see and hear cues for horizontal and vertical. the other way is to use the "calibration" functions that are in the Rx Drone software program where you see the modes of flight (circle, waypoints). The battery for the controller needs to be carefully watched....it runs low very quickly...many choose to replace the battery.

Draining these large packs too far is really hard on the cells. Rebalancing on recharge is critical.

You are correct, i failed to show the drone being rotated. At frame 6:42 we showed how the software: (1) prompts to rotate 3x clockwise for the horizontal stability control calibration, and then (2) prompts the operator to hold the drone face-down for 3x clockwise rotations for calibrating the vertical stability control.

I think the drivetrain might still be okay. I'd gone $1,000 for it as-is. Those wheels, the pop-top roof rack starters. Gauge cluster probably fine.

Yes, Ampere-Time 100Ahr LiFePO4...fully charged its like 13.3V so the voltage sag is well above the 10.5 low-voltage alarm of most inverters.

Fortunately they provided four cables that i ultimately used (shown in the video). My lead acid battery was connected with very thick automotive grade cables. It appears 10 AWG, or lower is needed (6mm or greater diameter) to power the refrigerator via the inverter. It is noted that this inverter at idle, without powering an ac-load, consumed close to 2 amps. Even switched off it was consuming power from my batteries.

vw tried and did make a solid front-end. A sturdy steel toy.

Finally got the application program on the computer to intercept the bluetooth data packets. still very disappointed by the bluetooth protocols and the reduced precision in the transmitted data. This could have all been executed better. Drives me to want to program my own stuff.

@@zaneenaz4962 True, I think precision is less in the bluetooth frame because it's written on 2 bytes for example 0x3275 => 327.5V. In my case, I don't intercept bluetooth data packets => I use a board HM-10 to directly connect to the tool and then I put the notification ON for one address. But I don't find the energy in Kwh in the notification frame, but as it's visible in the APP, maybe one command frame should be send to get it back (with bluetooth interception, it's would be possible to find it, i will try). Moreover, I can't find what Power factor means, because it doesn't seen to be equal to [cos Phi].
