Such a shame the Shells didn't work, they look really nice in the pots though. Niwaki tools are just fantastic, a real favourite of mine. I bought the same hori hori at Chelsea and have used it so much, such a good investment. The snips you bought looked great too.

Think of the seashell as a long-term lime source/fertilizer instead of a barrier for the slugs. We all overwhelmed by the To Do now and again. You are doing well. Cute little bench.

Happy Birthday Freddie, lovely goldfish. When we were kids we built a pond it was no deeper than 2ft a best we had goldfish for years no pumps or filters but did have oxygenating plants the fish will live through the winter if it is deep enough.
