New Can Am X3 XRC RR/ Installed new ACE Daytona Series Seats!
Swapped out the stock seats for ACE Daytonas . Ran into a couple minor issues , my hardware was missing 4 bolts , and 4 Rivnuts in the ACE mounting brackets . Replaced them with some from Oreilleys and kept moving .

Hello, Are you interested in testing our products? We would like to invite you to test the Flip Windshield for your 2022 Can Am Maverick X3
I have the same can am .I upgraded wheels an tires to 27x 14.goes 74
@@chevycamaro6883 Awesome bud! Glad you’re enjoying it . Ours has been great so far .
Did you use the same clutch bolt for the new PDRIVE, of did you have to get a new clutch bolt for the PDRIVE.
@@brienhalverson1956 It’s hard for me to remember honestly. I don’t think I did . I’ve replaced the secondary bolt each time however . I just did rollers in my XRC RR I have now and replaced the bolt .
What would you go with between the Outlander 500 or a King Quad in either 500 / 750?
@@randycupp5925 Oof that’s a tough one when you’re considering a 500 king or 750. If you got a smoking deal on a KQ 750 it’d be hard to tell you to not take it . They’re just built so well and silky smooth quality. Can am really did a solid job on these gen 3 mid bores . It’s FAR quieter drivetrain than older can ams and no squeaks and groans at all so far . I’d still go with the kq 750 if price was similar of course . 500 vs 500 the can am is gonna ride better , have a softer seat , more storage and generally smoother . I’ve never ridden a 500 kq but owned a 750 Kq . Power is similar between the 500s and prolly not enough different in seat of the pants to matter. I think you’d love either one . Outlander 500 vs KQ 750 take the 750. 500 vs 500 whichever one you get the better price on. Also to consider you get diff lock on the KQ 500 no matter what ….you have to have the right package 500 outlander to get diff lock.
@@joekearney Thank you for the help. Its nice to get info from folks that have experience with both. Also good to see Can Am attempting to increase simplicity and reliability. Just trying to avoid this guys experience: ua-cam.com/video/8q6mC5FxYOg/v-deo.html
@@randycupp5925 Absolutely brother ! You’re welcome …I’ve owned them all at this point except CFMOTO and that’s why I enjoy this little channel is talking with everyone. I’m back on a 1000R outlander now and I’ll be the first to tell you it’s not the best fit and finish and over all quality . Better than the sportsman 1000 I had ? Yes . Can Am did a solid job on the gen 3s and they’re the first North American machine I’ve thrown a leg over that made me fer like I was a on Japanese machine , just with a better ride and handling . I LOVE the Kingquads but I just had to come back to the big bore horsepower . If I had the money right this moment I’d trade for a 2025 gen 3 1000 outlander . Lots of great steps forward in fit and finish and drivetrain quietness for can am . If you have any worry at all keep your mind at peace and get the Zuke 500. So far yes our outlander 500 is great and I like everything about it better than my 2023 1000 except the power of course .

You got an update on how you like these seats?
@@serhammalot01 Man to be honest, I’m happy with them , but not blown away. I expected them to be softer feeling and they’re not . I like how they fit you though , to take full advantage of them I find I have to sit fully back and leaned back into the seat . I was just hoping for a softer more padded feel. What I do like is how much easier they are to get in and out of vs the stock seats , and how they fit the sides of your hips . The Apex has high hip risers, where as these Daytonas obviously do not . Are they better ? Yes , but not dramatically so. If they were any more expensive than the 540-550$ I got them for I’d have to say no.
@joekearney shoot, I'm hoping for it to be a game changer but it sounds like it's only gonna be so so. Thanks for replying with your opinion
@@serhammalot01 You bet man ! That’s what I enjoy doing this little channel for is talking with fellow enthusiasts. Stuff like those seats are subjective though , you may get them and absolutely love them and may feel different to you. For the price you can get them it’s still a win win for sure .
@joekearney I got the seats and install them. I didn't like them at first but after a few rides it has changed the game I absolutely love these seats. It's really nice to be held in place so I don't flail around the cab doing Burms and hitting whoops. I also really like that it holds my harnesses in place so they don't fall behind the seat and then I have to keep digging behind the seat to find them and put them on

Can you do a review on the rally bar, looking to buy one just want to know how you like it?
@@petergomez3152 Well, I’ll say this , it’s performance is good . However it was easier to use the 26” Boss Audio that I had on my other X3. The JBL a lot of times we have to turn it on and off and it’s finicky connecting to your Bluetooth. The boss Audio would auto connect when I turned the machine on . However the bass and sound level is far better on the JBL. That being said I’d spend the extra 500$ and just get the 35” big one and be done . This little 21” packs a lot of punch for a soundbar so the 35” would be epic as far as soundbars go ! I give it a 7/10. Performance is great for a soundbar , but functionality could be a little better.

How do you like your King Quad? Any problems with it? I am trying to decide between a rubicon and king quad. Thanks
@@lisaweaver7992 I absolutely loved it while I had it . Extremely well built machines . No issues at all, only reason I traded it was to go back to big Horsepower. I’d absolutely get a 750 KQ over a Rubicon .
My 03 Eiger uses the same 2/4WD selector switch. And I've experienced the 4wd kicking in when it wasn't supposed to. I did adjust it and it's been fine since but I primarily use mine for snow plowing so not too many miles on it. Suzuki makes a great quad. Hopefully you can get the issue sorted out. My cooling fan turns on all the time when I'm plowing. I've never seen a overheat light.
@@anthonyg6221 Did you tighten the adjustment clockwise or Counter ? Weird , another comment below said he notified his fan never comes on either . Yea I after outside of a couple minor little things it’s a well made tank .
@joekearney I don't remember what direction I turned the adjuster. I found some comments in a forum online that had the procedure. I do leave mine in 4wd when parked for long periods of time (over the summer) imo, This puts less stress on the cable because it's not holding it out of 4wd. When that switch or cable fails, it'll revert to 4wd only.

I’ve been wondering this exact thing , like does it even work lol .
What size collers did you use? I have a x3 just bought the rally bar xl. The 1.75” is too small and it doesn’t look like the 2” will tighten up. Seems like it’s gonna be loose on the cage
@@darrenphilpott2843 I just used the 2” ones that came with it and the thin rubber collar sleeves and tightened the crap out of it . It hasn’t moved a bit while riding, but if you push hard enough with your hands yes you can still move it back and forth, but it takes quite a bit of force .
I want grease fittings ! Grease is your friend bud .
@@goodboyringo9716 In my opinion I’ve never needed grease able bushings . The Japanese sealed compressed ones never wore out or failed.
@@joekearney ... Metal to metal also wears out. Your eyes just don't see it. If that was the case all cars wouldn't have grease fittings. There are making with some parts like U-joints without grease fitting and they do ware out causing us to replace them , when I could have greased the u-joint and lasted a long time. You are the first person I have ever found too lazy to grease a part.
@@goodboyringo9716 Lol well ya see you went and got smart Ellic . You’ve lost your mind . I’ve been riding since I was 4 years old and now fixing turn 40. Lazy is the last thing I am and I keep up with MULTIPLE machines . I KNOW what I’m talking about. 10,000+ miles on Japanese machines I’ve ridden with in the past and ZERO sealed compressed bushings worn out . NONE. Yet , all y’all fans of these grease able bushings with plastic inner collars that still wear out super fast even greasing them , especially Polaris , ask me how I know I’ve owned them! Ask yourself why Can Am ust changed the entire chassis setup of the new Outlanders to much easier maintenance and sealed compressed bushings ? If you want to spend all your time greasing and maintenance every 2-3 weeks that’s on you. I’ve got 5 machines to keep up with . Lazy is the last thing I am as I’m always doing maintenance or working on or changing something or modding . The 500 Outlander we have finally rivals Japanese quality in the chassis , as my 1000R XT sounds like a squeaking groaning orchestra every time you step on and off it , and the 500 doesn’t have a single squeak or groan . I had a 1998 Polaris Sportsman 500, and a 2019 sportsman 1000, I know all about greasing myself into infinity. It’s totally unnecessary. Have a good day.
