Questions: did you use self taping screws to attach angle alu (not clear in video) to panel? And not nuts and bolt? AND why not use VHB tape which I've seen recommended by others. TIA for thoughts.

Faster charging, higher peak power output, lower depth of discharge. At maxium power lead acid wastes half its energy and gives half its voltage unlike the equivalent rated lithium. It's why you can have a tiny lithum jump starter.

And the price of lithium batteries keeps going down and down👌

I have a question no one has answered for me... Can you charge your vehicle battery from your lithium leisure battery when it's parked up as my vehicle battery drains from the tracker and alarm etc in time.. I have a dc/dc but that only charges in the opposite direction..

Isn’t a shunt a weakness in the system that is going to get red hot when you put your air fryer on

The proof is in the pudding so to speak . The isolators came in really handy this week when you guys talked me through testing my system . It felt safe with things turned off and we quickly established it was a loose wire and fuse problem . Great to know that at the flick of a switch my solar is isolated .

Beautiful system . Very neat . Love the simplicity of safety that you build in with the isolators . Also the touchscreen is amazing to use .

I had a 272Ah lithium battery paired with a 300W solar panel, without a DC-DC charger, and everything worked perfectly. We used it to heat water, air, and charge all our devices, including 12V systems and an 800W 220V inverter for a laptop. Our family of four-two adults and two children-lived comfortably with this setup for a year.

Hi, fitted 2 x 280ah lithium, 3000w inverter, smart shunt, cables from busbar to invertor doubled up 35mm, invertor intermittent switch off running coffee machine 1500w max, any suggestions thanks Mark, best wishes lindsay
