Hello, I really like the cat laser. However when I build it, my servos start spinning and keep spinning when I turn on the power. I use 2 360 degrees servos. Could that be why they keep on spinning?

Hey, would there be any issue using electrolytic capacitors instead of ceramic ones? I know ceramic capacitors are meant to perform at greater frequency for small amounts of power like this project, but I don't know how big of a problem it will be if I use the electrolytic ones.

Hi, i started same project and tested same pump but have the problem that the liquid flows back in the hose, so it's not very precise to dose the ingredients. If i put the liquids top down in a machine, the liquid runs through the pump due to different levels. Going to do it with more expensive perestaltic pumps.

If anyone else sees this tutorial: the link for the corner pieces in his bio has expired, so if you want to make this, try to find other corner pieces that have 3 connectors. I didn't check if mine had 3 so I had to manually solder the light strips together.

I started out with an Arduino UNO and AmbiBox. Worked great. Though I recommend using an HDMI passthrough for TV the TV though, its easier to use for all sources. And my wife loves them as much as I do. I would love to use them for my PC, but not sure of the best way to set them due to my multi-monitor (3) setup.

Thank you for this! I did play around with the Ambibox Software today, before i will order the Strips, because the LED´s will go along the top only, but 3 Monitors wide. From the Software it seems, that you can move around every box individually (the ones that represent every LED, 120 in my case) and across multiple screens, but i´m unsure if the software will react in the expected way, because it neither gives you a top only nor a 3 screen wide option natively. For example: When i play Truck sims, i have the game set across all screens with a 5760x1080 Resolution. Now let´s say i drive past a streetlight ingame, and the light shines into the left half of my left screen, then i want the LED´s to react in the same way. Lighting up the wall behind the left half of the left monitor only, with the correct color from the game. Long story short, do you have any experience if it´ll work that way? Or should i have a look at "Prismatik" instead? Although this software seems outdated, with the last update 2 or 3 years ago. Thank you for your help!

Mine stops working from absolutely nowhere. USB-Serial CH340 is still there, but leds just don't work. And they're good, since turning off them make them blink.
