You forgot to mention one detail that makes the Three Houses DLC levels far better than the Engage DLC levels: In TH, you just need to beat the DLC ONCE and you can have the Ashen Wolf in your team in EVERY PLAYTHROUGHS. But in Engage, in order to have the Four Winds and the Fell Twins, you need to beat the DLC in *EVERY PLAYTHROUGH!!!*

honestly, i preferred engage. three houses felt like it dragged on just slightly too long, and replaying the school part wasnt something i really enjoyed. I also didnt like the gimmick of three houses with the weapons. engage felt more like old school fire emblem, albiet with a more cliche story.

Fully Ramblomatic is great. Yahtzee is the same, the jokes are still razor sharp and utterly hilarious. That being said, i miss the imps 😔

my take story: three houses replayability: engage I personally have a hard time playing three houses cus it feels like a persona rip off rather than a fire emblem game whereas engage tried to be creative and innovative. is engage perfect? hell no but i have way more fun with it than i do playing three houses. i also think the modding community is a reflection of which game has more replayability and engage has far more mods than three houses

I think that a game that does Engage's "premonition dream" well is the only FE game I played: Awakening. Like the game spoils itself and does a twist, before you really meet your best friend Chrom. It's very nice to set up the worriness in the player for when everything can go wrong.

For both games introduced in Switch, its just funny how both games are in some way polar opposites of each other in some aspects. You can obviously see the clear camps of 3H vs Engage on earlier comments. Engage is miles ahead better in map design and gameplay vs 3H but have atrocious story and world building. It all comes down to whichever you prefer more in a game as a reflection of you as a gamer. I myself is in the camp of 3H as I do love endearing myself to characters through story but I agree the newer title is much more better gameplay wise. I just hope the new FE titles would (and should have) improved on its predecessors with a better story and better gameplay/maps
