Installing a Pro Circuit Ti-6 exhaust on my 2020 KX250 with sound check
Follow along with me while I install my new Pro Circuit Ti-6 titanium exhaust system on a 2020 Kawasaki KX250. I've been looking at these pipes for a while, and I finally decided to bite the bullet and go for it! Absolutely no disappointment as Pro Circuit makes incredible products. I'm trying out these more "vlog" style videos, so let me know what you think!
Side note, this is my first video made with my new Canon XA40 camera. Switching platforms from a mirrorless, and I am excited! So easy to use and exceptional quality!

Cedar Lake Arena 12-26-20
Переглядів 4043 роки тому
Take a couple laps with me around Cedar lake Arena in New Richmond, Wi. We took a day trip up there to get on two wheels! It's been a few weeks since I was able to ride, so it was definitely time! Bear with me, as this is my first time on an indoor style track in about 9 years. It took a little bit to get re-acclimated!
First Moto Vlog: Gypsum City
Переглядів 2393 роки тому
Follow along as I make the short trip up to Gypsum City OHV park in Fort Dodge, Ia. Still trying to get my bike dialed in and get comfy! I was breaking up the main track in to sections to get dialed in, so no full hot laps. Then I go off to some of the trails and explore. This is only a touch of the trails that are at this park. Its huge!
Gypsum City OHV Motocross Track

Take a lap with me around Gypsum City's Motocross track in Fort Dodge, Iowa riding a 2020 KX250. This is one of my first few laps trying to get the flow down and learning the jumps. Unfortunately my GoPro mount broke and it started raining so I didn't get any shots of a solid lap that day! Shot with a GoPro Hero 8 Black and color graded in Davinci Resolve.

In this Tech Tip video I cover how to polish the frame and components of my 2020 KX250 to give it a factory look. This method of polishing only requires Scotchbrite, shop rags, and Mother's Mag and Aluminum polish.
Pro Circuit Ti6 Pro Install and Sound
Переглядів 85 тис.4 роки тому
Check out the before and after of a 2017 KX450F with a Pro Circuit Ti6 Pro exhaust system. I needed to get some use out of the Canon 6D mk II, so I added a little install edit for you!
Nice job cleaning finger prints off before starting. 😅
My exhaust gets red in the front is that normal ?
I have a 2019 kx250f and im thiming about getting a full exhuast from yoshimura, does it need the remap? Who did your remap? I heard good and bad things about tokyomod
I got a 23 KX250X and want this set up what do people mean if you change the whole system it’ll run lean I’m not big on the maint side of riding but trying to learn
Hola sabras si el escape de la kxf 250 21 se puede colocar en la 22?
Was this with a re mapped ECU? Or stock
This video is actually really good the camera angles, the music, the editing was amazing, I didn’t get bored at any time during the video it’s just a banger keep it up man you deserve so many more subscribers and likes
Wish I had the money have the same bike ima try to save for it but man there pricy
Did you use the black putty stuff you got with it?
Do i have to keep re polishing after it gets dirty or will it always remain this way?
It will always get dirty again the air and sunlight is what gets it dark no way to keep it clean like a mirror unless u ceramic coat it
But it’s a dirt bike u know it suppose to b dirty
@@josephjoestar5444 that’s not what he asked idiot
I would recommend every 2 ish rides give it a touch up and go over where you’ve polished. Over time it’ll not look as fresh but it will stay nice
I came here trying to do the opposite! Lol. Trying to save my $550 boots!
WHY YOUR BIKE SMOKINGGGG
i own a 2021 kx 450 , i came off a banshee 350 , tbh the kx 450 is hella faster than a banshee , scary fast bike . im just lost between a fmf slip on or this pro circuit in the video .
It's a scary fast bike for sure. I've never ran a FMF so I have no comparison. I've ran procircuit on my last 3 bikes and love them.
Did your header really get that blue just from idling? I just put a ti6 exhaust on my bike today and the headers didn’t change color at all really
Try using a torch, if it isnt turning blue you have a different type of pro circuit
@@thatguyrides7072 i tried the torch but didn’t like how it turned out. I hand polished it which took most of the color away, then it went blue on it’s own
@@NickW90 cool
How did you get your exhaust to go blue? I just put the ti6 on my honda and i only have a tiny bit of purple around the weld. Maybe have to actually ride it?
Mine only turned a little while idling, most of the color change was on the track. I've seen some people use a propane torch to heat it up and force the change. There's a handful of videos out there of people doing it that way too!
@@andrewowen9513 oh ok. I’ve put a few hours on mine now and they didn’t change much so i put a little heat to them to get a little blue
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Can I get your stock muffler
Does this exhaust take away the awful noise the stock one has
Sounds 1000x better in my opinion
One quick question what is the difference between the TI6 pro and the Ti6 is it the same
Per pro circuit, the only difference is for sound requirements in pro racing. Performance should be the same. The Ti-6 also has a removable spark arrestor that the pro does not come with.
Oh i see yeah it's because i plan on buying a pro circuit exhaust pipe for my 2021 kx250f they look nice with the carbon fiber 🙌👌
135 kawi bro....
Great vid. Debating which 4 stroke I should look for as I just got rid of my 125 and 250, I’ve never ridden a 4 stroke so it’ll be interesting
That is a 450 sound
Why do people think 450s sound cooler? They rev lower and slower.
Hey ! Do you think there is a sound difference between the Ti-6 and the Ti-6 Pro ? Thanks ! 🤘
I think the Ti-6 is louder than the pro and maybe a little deeper sounding. However, I had one on a 450 and one on a 250 so I can’t compare directly!
@@andrewowen9513 Yes i though me too ! Because the ti-6 pro is designed for competition that sets sound standards i think. Thanks !
Round your tips just a hair, it'll save boot bottoms a tad
How do you like the low end/midrange with it? I've heard of people having trouble finding the right ECU coupler to match the exhaust, but who knows. I'm on the fence with this or the yoshi
I can’t comment on the pipe alone, as I also put in a piston and changed gearing before I had a chance to ride it. I ran the white coupler with decent results. For me, It felt improved throughout, but not significant low gains until I had it remapped. I had it remapped after the mods, and it really woke up the bike. Quicker and stronger hit down low, and still had a great top end power.
@andrewowen9513 who remapped it for you
Would it work on the whole swing arm ?
Sure will! As long as you have an aluminum frame.
Jhhgcvoghg
Bc I got a 2021 kx 250 just what would be the best for it so want have worrie about storing it in the winter or win I don't ride it for a long time is the vp t4 good or do you have to mix it with gas or just put it right in the bike thanks bud
I generally run VP T4 with great results. At a minimum I’ll run 91 premium pump gas. T4 is a direct pour in gas replacement. No mixing needed. I haven’t had any issues storing it either. I generally do some indoor riding/races over the winter, so my bike never sits more than a month without running, but I haven’t had any issues.
@@andrewowen9513 Iam running 93 pump gas right now so vp T4 may have to look in to it
@@andrewowen9513 thanks for the info bud
I'm an otr trucker bike sits a lot vp t4 always delivers for me love that shit
What fuel do you use for your bike bud just asking
Bought the same exhaust for my kx! The sound and quality is really good! Have a good one
It certainly is! No regrets at all. You as well!
Did you have to get the couplers remapped for the exhaust or the ecu tuned?
You don't HAVE to remap the ECU for it to work. The bike runs fine just bolting it up, however to fully take advantage of the pipe, I would recommend it! I believe Tokyo Mods is doing a package deal right now so that if you buy the pipe through them, they will reprogram your ECU for free.
@@andrewowen9513 thanks, if only I lived where they are 😂😂
Woohoo Go Kawasaki!
Only the best!
Nice bro. A great motor cross 🤩
Thanks dude!
Did you have to tune the bike??
You don’t have to tune it. You’ll have gains just bolting it on, but I’m sure a tune would make it that much better!
@@andrewowen9513 awesome!! Thank you for replying! Looking to get one for my 21 kx250
Did the pipe come with the springs?
Yes, they’re included.
👍
4:06 why I see smoke
Anti seize is burning off where the joints meet on the pipe.
Anti seize burning off the pipe
Do you need a programmer to run the full exhaust or just bolt it up and it’s good to go
You don’t have to reprogram, it’ll run just fine bolting it up. However, there probably is some more performance to be squeezed out of it if you do! The ECU is not something I’ve dug into yet besides the couples on the Kawasaki.
Awesome video keep up on the good work
Thanks! I appreciate it!
What year model is your bike? And is it a 250 or 450? I installed mine yesterday and the header pipe that goes into the engine, the cap that goes on the end to screw to tighten didn’t sit flush with the engine, did that happen to you?
It looks like it did
This was on my 2017 KX450. Mine went on flush. I placed the header and tightened each bolt a little at a time and it seated fine. It looks crooked because I didn’t have enough hands and kept letting go 😁
why was it smoking?
Gavin Eibert it’s the anti seize in the joints of the pipe burning off.
Ahhhh that’s why mine smoked when I started it up, I wasn’t sure if my plastic was melting because it was getting so close to the new pipe
Up the kawi 🤙🤙
I know it’s been a while since you posted this video but do you have to mess with fuel injection at all after installing
Boo Davis no I didn’t. I run the white coupler everywhere and they work great together. If you wanted to, there probably could be tuning to do to optimize the use of the pipe, but not required!
I know it’s been a while since this comment was made.... any issues fuel wise down the road now?
I no longer have this 450. I moved up to a 2020 early in the year. But as long as I had the 450, I had no issues at all with it!
what camera would you recommend that shoots like your 6d?
I recently switched to a Sony A7III and love it for video. My biggest take away is something with interchangeable lenses. Get a good quality lens, all the camera does is record what the lens sees. 2nd, make sure it has a mic input for that good audio!
Like the graphics, where did you get them?
Thanks! They’re from D’cor.
Hello! I'm in love with the Ti 6 and will buy it for my kxf 450 2018. What did you think of this? Is there power improvement at all rpm? Is the sound louder than its OEM?
Elio Pereira personally I feel like the bike gained responsiveness and an overall increase. It makes the power more suitable to my riding style. I didn’t notice a huge noice increase, but it has a more aggressive sound in my opinion. I love pro circuit products and have never regretted a purchase from them!
Hello! OK! Thanks so much for your tip! I already got the ti 6! hug
