Judas Priest - Red Hot Tokyo (1978)
I'm starting to reupload contents from my old website. To start off, here's one that never made it on the page: my personal re-edit of the Red Hot Tokyo soundboard recording. The original version had a very narrow and muffled sound, so I re-EQed it and gave a slight echo effect to make it sound more "live". Unfortunately my edits did result is some hiss, but I think overall it's still much better than it was.

Judas Priest - Beyond the Realms of Death (Live in Detroit 1990 - Improved Audio)
Переглядів 20 тис.4 роки тому
5th December 1990. The Palace of Auburn Hills, Detroit, MI. Check the previous two videos for further information. This is the same audio editing I used on those, but with hiss reduction added to the mix. To showcase the full potential of my edits I picked a track with lots of dynamic range. Personally I think it sounds even better now, and there's very little if any room left for improvement (...
Judas Priest - All Guns Blazing (Live in Detroit 1990 - Improved Audio)

5th December 1990. The Palace of Auburn Hills, Detroit, MI. Had this bootleg for years but rarely watched it because while the picture quality is quite decent, the audio was rather muddy and muffled. Finally decided to try and improve the audio in Audacity. Personally I think it sounds much better now, what do you guys think?

Rob Halford being interviewed on German radio in 1986. Probably around the same date as their show in Stuttgart (2nd October), as this is often a bonus track on a bootleg LP called Live Bites which was recorded there. This particular version comes from the collection of Ericfg.

Judas Priest - Turbo Lover Hi-Octane Mix (short version)
Переглядів 4,2 тис.9 років тому
In 1986, Priest (or at least their label) thought that Turbo Lover would become such a major hit that they commissioned a new remix of it from famous DJ Freddy Bastone (credited as The Hellion Kid on this release). The result was called "Hi-Octane Mix", and it was sold as 7" and 12" vinyl singles only. The long version, at almost seven and a half minutes long, would become more (in)famous as it...
Judas Priest - Mother Sun (Reading 1975, better sound)
Переглядів 29 тис.9 років тому
Judas Priest performing Mother Sun, a track that never made it on any of their studio albums, at the Reading Rock Festival on 22nd August 1975. Only a guitar vocal demo version was recorded in the studio, and the rights to this recording (along with everything else they recorded with them) were lost when Judas Priest broke their contract with Gull Records in late 1976. Therefore, it is unlikely...
Judas Priest - 1982 tour special
Переглядів 8 тис.12 років тому
From the Metal Works '73-'93 VHS A special report & interview made by PM Magazine during Judas Priest's 1982 Screaming for Vengeance tour. Shows a bit of what was happening behind the scenes... The live video that's about to start at the end of this clip is from Memphis '82, so nothing special there. I re-upped this video and deleted the earlier one, because I botched the aspect ratio on it... ...
Budgie & Judas Priest - Running from My Soul (rare live 1974)
Переглядів 211 тис.13 років тому
Bootleg Budgie performing with Judas Priest on 11th February 1974 at The Marquee Club in London, England. Back then Glenn Tipton wasn't yet in Judas Priest, and the band was touring in support for fellow hard rockers Budgie, not having a recording contract yet. While the Judas Priest show wasn't recorded by anyone (or at least hasn't surfaced yet), many of Budgie's shows back then ended with Bu...

Don’t know when or if you’ll read this, but this seems like the only option. I saw on an archive of your site that you have an audience recording of December 18th, 1983 in Dortmund, Germany. Now, I’ve heard that there’s a bootleg of this show that has the entire set. So, I have a few questions. First, does your audience copy of the show have the entire set and if it does, could you possibly upload it here? Hearing Sinner or Screaming for Vengeance from this show has been something I’ve wanted for years, but thought wouldn’t happen. Also, thank you for running the website for all of those years, and now uploading things here. My interest in live recordings of bands mostly starts from the bootlegs you put on your site that spread here to UA-cam.
anyone notice when glen goes off script he's a spaz?
А я люблю Хэлфорда!❤
Rob is a majestic creature. There'll never be another one
I was turned on to Judas Priest in 1979 …. My first show …. It’s all been down hill since then 😇 Sin after Sin !!😊 🎸
Dont like his drumhead sound. Sounds like he's hitting suitcases.
One of every Priest fan's all-time favorite songs and solos. 😍
Halford before he started dressing like Glenn of The Village People.
STAND BY FOR EXCITER!!!!😜👍👍👍👍👍👍
H D ??
Due to lack of budget, we used 16mm film for two cameras. The camera under the stage was stopped while filming to save film. My father said that it was difficult to synchronize the sound when editing. The conditions for shooting a live performance were the worst. ENG cameras began to be widely used in Japan in 1985. This is when Sony's Betacam started to recover. Director: Mitsuo Taki
My father was in charge of directing this film. I was also present at this photoshoot at the age of 17. It's nostalgic. Production company: TBS Films inc. (currently TBS Sparkle inc.) Direction: Mitsuo Taki
A man was that two chicks kissing in the background
Not a soundboard recording, but an incredible audience recording!
Damn this is vintage.
A MASTERPIECE, A AMAZING PERFORMANCE A BADASS SONG, BEAUTIFUL, JUST BEAUTIFUL.
I can't stop listening to this version. I had no real idea of how good Glen Tipton and company were, even though I've been listening to them my whole life. Awesome.
É muito moderno pra época! Nao tem jeito! Black Sabbath fez Heavy, Judas Priest fez Metal
🤘'78 was my first Priest show in a tiny venue in N.J. Those were shows! no curfew and bands really showed their chops! sad for todays concert goers, you'll never know what a concert that goes till 2 am because the band is feeding off the crowd feels like. not just a recital of material with pre-programmed encors
The album unleashed in the east is the very best heavy metal album of the century
One of the best ,,, for metal music,,not produced like kiss Alive album,,
and the masters les & simon, laying it down in the background
自分の中では ナンバーワンソング THER&R
I heard this version at the Palladium NYC 1979. Tipton did a killer solo. Les binks was a Beast. Unleashed in the East tour.
Painkiller the beginning of the end 😢 Scott Travis was the wrong choice and I never wanted to see jp live anymore.
You’re dramatic 😂
Saw um in 80. Was one of the best shows I've ever seen. I still go to all the big shows, but that one was special.
Scott’s solos seem to have gotten lamer over the years. The Racer X Live Extreme Volume blows this one away.
I was there stage level front left facing the stage.
THANK YOU Muchas Gracias Domo Arigato
More like a double bass solo. Pretty boring. Look up Les Binks solo and you'll be a lot more impressed...
i like glenn and rob sing together on 2:50-3:43
What year is it....
one of my all time favorite songs! this is badass!!
Dave got railroaded. Poor dude.
Scott relaced Dave at the right time for priest, Metallica, anthrax, Megadeth, slayer brought faster temple, what's great is thru the decades every priest album always right there with trend, Judas priest style of course
Do caralho
Great solo! You can definitely tell Tommy Aldridge was a major influence.
Awesome indeed ❤🙏
Meglio ancora la versione di Unleashed in the East cmq notevole anche questa
Fast as hell! Fuckin' primal!
Sharing
They had such great stuff from the 70 s and beyond
This is a real treasure to see. Rob’s vocals are insane at the end.
Oh my, the mighty Priest!!!!
The god singing in the beggining of the most dark era for heavy and thrash (90s)
Dude, this sounds awesome. Any plans to remaster the other Tokyo show? The audience recording from 7/31/1978 (not the one that was filmed)?
I remember stealing a Priest album from my Dad, I got caught 😂
Killer!
I must have a different set of ears...not a great performance by Rob...but...it's live and that's what makes it magical. A friend of mine had a bootleg of the British Steel tour....far from bad, but terrible in spots...but again..that's what playing live is all about...the moment..
What was that piece of equipment that Glenn Tipton was using at the beginning of Starbreaker ?
I think it's a theremin
It's his delay effect set to heavy feedback ....all those repeats 😁
