@@Adscarpadventures Hello, yes Elphicks is great for a day session. Prairie can be a bit tough sometimes so I would probably fish kettles Lake on a day session. @sifishes nice 1 cheers mate. I'm booked in for a 38hr on prairie in May but was thinking of fishing the lakes before on a day session so I'm kpt going in blind. Never fished here.

@Adscarpadventures Nice.. you can still catch fish on a day session on Prairie but it all depends if the fish are playing ball. I'm on Prairie in August. Some people swear by using red maggots but Boilie crumb and a wafters can produce really well. Saying that I had a 30 on a pop up so lots of methods do work. Hope you do well 🎣🎣🎣

@sifishes thats good to know. I will take the advice and give it a go. I normally mix the rods up with differnet methods until I know what's working on the session.

@@vivalachocolat1 I'd usually use a line clip fishing up to an island for example, especially when casting when it's dark. I'd measures how many wraps up to the island so I know the exact distance and can re-line clip each cast. If baiting lightly in open water I'd use the marker paint or elastic to my chosen spot, then pult a few boilies over the top. Or if I want to bait up heavily I'd probably put out a marker float and Spod up to the marker followed by my hookbait rod. Lots of different scenarios. Not sure I would use a marker and a line clip together though. Hope this helps 👍

@@TheKentAngler I'm pretty sure he was using braid, so was strange that it snapped?!! Weird. I've had a deeper for a year and never taken it out of the box!! I must learn how to use it 🧐

@@sifishes Haha its one of those little tools that is great, when you remember you have it. I mainly use to find clear zones in weedy lakes, I've never been able to work out the bits that say if fish are there.

@rickyjackson851 So far so good, only used it twice but it holds the charge really well. Will be fishing for 5 days in April so will give it a proper test

@sifishes I fully understand, no problem at all, family first. I spend quite some time in the UK bit never for fishing. Always with my motorbike. But I would love to fish one day in the UK. And I like your way of fishing, that's why I asked you. Please keep on making videos and share them with us. I'm out next weekend, sturgeon and/or carp. But I don't make videos like you 😉
