Maybe it was a john nathan cordy preset, not sure. The HX Stomp has great potential! And a lot of effects always hide the weaknesses😅 But the unit sounds great🤷‍♂️👍

@@samnewlin9423 Besides the technical aspects i find it most challenging what to play since you have to play a lot more notes than usual. Therefore fretboard visualization is a huge thing. Try to start slow and find ways to play 16th notes and still connecting the changes👍 Greetings 👋

Hey George, in this case its recorded without an amp😅. Its direct into the GFI System Cabzeus Stereo into my DAW and a little bit of reverb and mixing. When using a real amp maybe try to turn down the tone knob on the guitar a bit and maybe even the volume knob, so that the amp doesn’t get too much input. And try a thicker pick👍😁 good luck 👋👌

@@arneluebbertyguitar5980 I have the Boss Dual Cube and Yamaha THR5A which be used as interface to colour tone. I have dual outputs on PRS - Piezo to Yamaha acoustic amp and magnetic to Boss . I use Ableton with a Presonus interface for mics. I am struggling to get that lovely tone you have on this magnificent recording. Ive got some jim dunlop puretone and jazz-iii picks on the way. I will try as you suggest . I might be overdoing the input and roll off . i usually play acoustic. PRS Hollowbody Piezo is my first electric Very helpful thanks.

Hi David, thanks a lot! It's a PRS custom 22 from 2009 with dragon 2 pickups. There is no amp involved here. The magic piece is the GFI System Cabzeus Stereo, a speaker simulator. Adding a bit reverb from my DAW, a little mixing and it sounds pretty good 👍😄
